Topic: Upcoming 3DS VC Downloads

I thought about it and I think it'll happen somewhere around 20th-27th Feburary. A new Nintendo Direct always happens somewhere around a month so that's my best guess. What do you guys want Nintendo to announce at the next Nintendo Direct for 3DS? I want them to announce new 3DS retail games, release dates for eShop games like Harmoknight and Shantae and the Pirate's Curse and so on, as well as, well since this is an Upcoming 3DS VC Downloads thread maybe announce release dates for classic games like Kirby's Dream Land 2, Super Mario Bros. 2 USA & Super Mario Bros. 3 (especially), Double Dragon NES, Wario Land III, Space Harrier, and hopefully, HOPEFULLY some GBA titles. What about you guys?

Apperently Legend of the River King and Harvest Moon both for GBC are coming out reallly soon. That's really about it. Oh yeah duh keep you eyes peeled for Mega Man 3 and other NES titles.

There'll be a 3rd party 3DS Nintendo Direct next week... in Japan only, but hopefully an indication of what direction it's going in and the strength of support. Nintendo recently announced they would be helping 3rd parties get there products to Europe and the Americas so... fingers crossed for some tasty morsels

To prevent a burnout of titles? Nope that's not it, seeing as Japan has over 60 3DS VC games that no other region has (and yes I know some of those titles never left Japan, but that doesn't apply to that many titles, and the opposite is also true - with Japan even getting games that were never released there).
Japan get at least one VC title a week on average - we're lucky to see one every 2 weeks.
We're not asking for 4 titles a week, but we're asking for at least one.

Yeah he has a point. Japan needs to get all those VC games to the West, especially Game Gear. We haven't gotten any new SEGA Game Gear games in a long time. I'd also like to see Super Mario Bros. 2 USA & Super Mario Bros. 3, Wario Land 3, Kirby's Dream Land 2, Yoshi, and Balloon Fight.

Good news everyone! The good news is that the Zelda Oracle games are coming to 3DS eShop! The bad news is... they're only coming to Japan at the moment. But considering we've gotten pretty much every 3DS game they've gotten before us, I would be very suprised if this port wasn't localized. Also we are getting Yoshi (NES) on 3DS VC today (though it's not very good but oh well) and I'm sure we might get Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA) and other classic titles soon, so the 3DS Virtual Console is alive and kicking.

@MultiMariosonic: Miiverse confirmed they will eventually be available.

What, for 3DS? Where did you here this?

Eiji Anouma posted on Miiverse and said that the games would become available in NA and Europe but that it would take some time.

There is probably a new 3DS VC game comig this week assumingly. What do you guys think it'll be? I think it could be: Legend of the River King, Harvest Moon, Wrecking Crew, Balloon Fight, Super Mario Bros. 2 USA, Kirby's Dream Land 2, or possibly, but with doubt, Legend of Zelda Oracle of Seasons/Ages.

As for the stuff we know that's eventually coming, I'm wanting Legend of the River King (GBC), the Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages (GBC), and the Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons (GBC).

I'm not into DLing NES games on my 3DS, but I may make an exception for Super Mario Bros 2/USA (NES), due to the fact that I've never played it before.

Today we are getting Wrecking Crew, originally on the NES! This game got an 8 out of 10 on Nintendo Life and a 7 out of 10 on IGN, so it's a good game! I might not buy it, but hat doesn't mean you shouldn't. Coming soon to 3DS VC is also Legend of the River King, Harvest Moon GBC, Tails Adventure on Game Gear, Revenge of the Gator, and Crystal Warriors. And of course we already know about Zelda Oracle of Seasons/Ages.

Wait What!? Tails Adventure is coming? where did you hear about that i am so excited for that game i love Tails!!

In North America and maybe Europe and Australia, Mega Man 3 is coming next week, Mega Man 4 will be coming in April, Mega Man 5 will be coming in May, and Mega Mean 6 will be coming in June.

Mega Man 3 is the best classic Mega Man. I can't wait to have it portable next week.

I do hope they continue releasing the Game Boy games at some point, though.
