It actually is being made. Why would they waste their time putting the theme song into TRFF as DLC?

What the heck? An IOS port is not a bad thing, considering how SE probably wants to gain more fans of the game first before they decide on a sequel. It kinda makes sense, and I have no clue why I get attacked for speaking my honest opinion. At least it isn't like the reactions of the IOS port on NeoGaf or Youtube, which are completely silly.

So if I wanted to play TWEWY for the first time should I get the IPad version or the DS version for $2 more?

I'd go with the iPad version. It's got a bunch of new content, is cheaper, and despite what the fanboys say, the game actually seems more refined.

iPad version seems a lot easier, while the DS version is harder to get into, but ultimately more rewarding.
Both have some of the best presentation around, though iPad has better graphics and sound, as well as more music.
Outside of that there isn't any added content though. Whichever fixes your fancy, I guess. They're both outstanding.
If you're going the DS route, make sure to always play on manual. It makes the game a lot more rewarding that way.
