What makes me sad is that he was actually able to sell 4 copies at rediculous prices.

@Mickeymac I've actually just bought 5 copies from Zavvi so that I can hopefully sell them at an equally ridiculous price. I need the money for Vita, sorry people who will get ripped off by me.

Wow, I saw copies of Tales of the Abyss on the shelf in gamestop yesterday though.

Gamestop is the best place to get it, I think. On Gamestop.co.uk it's £28 and Gamestop.ie it's €30. Very cheap(if .ie works out cheaper they can post it to the UK with €2 euro postage).

@lz20XX Yep, though hopefully that won't happen by Jan. If not, I can always sell them back off at £30 anyway.

Can anyone give me any advice on beating Largo and Sync? I've fought against them three times and on 2 occasions I beat Sync, but I can never beat them both. I always go for Sync first because he's faster so I thought that it would be the best strategy to use, however, when I have beat him I'm usually on quite low health, and for some extremely frustrating reason Tear seems to have always ran out of TP the second that I need a health boost. Is it just that my level isn't high enough? My characters are all around 21, I don't know if that's too low. Please help!

You have the right strategy. I suggest trying one more time and see if you can avoid Sync's attacks more, if not, then go level up at least twice. Plus make sure you have Luke and Jade in your party if you don't already.

@Mickeymac Yep I'm currently using Luke, Jade, Tear and Guy. Do you think I should try using Natalia as she has healing powers? Anyway, I'll have another try now and I'll let you know how I get on!

Probably not the best idea unfortunately. Guy and Tear would both be more useful.

I used Luke, Jade, Anise and Natalia against Sync & Largo. I was beaten the first time because I went after Largo...but the second time I went after Sync first and managed to beat them. I think at the time I decided to use Natalia because she had better healing powers.

I was about level 18-20 at the time.

You should make a lot of use of the L button to move freely, I use it all the time especially in boss fights. You can lead the bosses to attack and then cut around them so they miss. Doesn't work every time but it can be a good strategy to use.

Thanks Mickeymac and Dizzard. Managed to beat them first time I retried. It was extremely easy, Sync was beaten within 30 seconds and then it was easy to just get Largo. I raised my levels by about 2 so that they were all around 21-22 and that was a massive help! Now on my way to Akzeriuth.

Also, how far have people progressed and what's your playtime? I'm heading to Akzeriuth and my playtime is 14 hours.

Good to hear you got past it. Hopefully you won't have to grind through too many boss battles in the game, but there's always at least one that'll put your nose to the grind.

Final Dungeon, Over 70 hours(with most of the sidequests done).

If anything, whether this port does well or not, hopefully it will open a strong threshold for JRPGS in the 3DS software library.

Tales of The Abyss is now (according to the activity log) my most played game knocking Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time into second position. I really love a good rpg.

Finished my first playthrough; took around 85 hours to complete. A lot of fun and that ending man....

Will do another playthrough at some point but it was a great experience. Really enjoyed it.
