What, this isn't the 80's reference topic? Well then, I find Swapnote to be fun & exciting... I only wish they'd limited the number of pages you could send, but NOT the ink. I keep running out of ink halfway through a picture of a ninja!

I think the ink limit is because it is recording the whole time you are drawing. The more 'ink' you use, the bigger the file you will be sending.
I always thought the ink limitation was stupid and couldn't understand why until you gave your reason for it. It does make sense that it is actally recording and not just a simple art/writing program.

I hope Nintendo themselves continue with the messages they sended out about Zelda and their 'Nintendo Direct' conference. That was really nice. Would be cool to see more of that.

I submitted a deviantART Group dedicated to sharing art drawn in Swapnote/NLB. It hasn't been approved yet but once it's up you can find it by the name #SwapnoteArtists. Thought I may as well post this. If it isn't very popular I'll just remove it though
In the video from Reggie, he lists it alongside other apps. Forget if he specifically said it was, but seems like it is. If it is, that sucks because it means you won't be able to check messages while in a game since you can only ever have one application loaded at a time. If it were through your friends tab, you can view that at any time.
Stylus-only doesn't bother me because the only message I'll be sending anyone for a long time will likely just be "MK7?"
Checking messages while in a game is something I expected, but I guess we're not getting it unless we're told otherwise. If Nintendo ever gives us a built-in messaging system, then that would be awesome.
Anyone else having problems with the dates of the letters received? I have supposedly received my latest letters on 4/4/2012, which is 20 days from today.
