Topic: Swapnote thoughts

1. Need a way to organize letters.
2. Having to pay with coins for features is dumb.
3. Different coloured ink would be nice.
4. Not enough background choices (only 6)
5. There STILL should be a LIVE chat system within the friends list.

It's a good app, but it's not what the system needs. The system needs a skype-type chat that works even when a game is in a frozen state.

@Hardy83: You can remove your number 4. You can buy more backgrounds later with play coins.

I don't mind using coins to unlock the backgrounds. To me there is finally something to spend them on!!! There's way more than 6. I have unlocked many of them. Five coins for them is nothing.

I agree, although I do wish that Nintendo would raise the limit. It is good that somany 3DS functions need you to work for your goodies and it makes you have to decide which is more important to you. For instance I am about 10 hit points off defeating the final, final boss on Streetpass Quest 2, I have about half my Donkey Kong puzzle done and now there are more Stationary to choose from. Its all about which one you want the most. I tend to walk everywhere so collecting coins isnt an issue, but Nintendo if your reading this could you not atleast raise the cap to 20.. or 30 lol

All I can say is, you can easily lose track of how many notes you've sent... or at least I did. XD

For a minute I thought you said that we had to pay to send notes. xD

Also, you can only send one reply per letter.

I'd like to have two sized pens like in Pictochat and more ink. Colors would be bonus too but I can make nice messages without.

I wasn't aware there was more backgrounds, I stand corrected.
And I know some people won't mind spending coins, but considering you only get 10 a day makes the amount of coins you need for things like this and Mii Plaza kind of ridiculous. They are almost encouraging you to cheat.

I mean if Nintendo coins cost real money (say $1 for 5 coins) these features (Mii Plaza, Swapnote) for the 3DS would be worse then most F2P games on IOS and Facebook.
I don't see how people are accepting this even if the coins themselves are free.

Also, thinking about it. Being able to send movies would be cool, and if that's a feature I don't know.

Does anybody notice there seems to be a 20 message per download limit!? Not complaining as if I got all my messages at once I might have to wait 10 mins or so!

I just want a normal messaging system....

that explains a lot, actually — sometimes i'll get twenty messages and then not five minutes later i'll have ten more waiting already. and here i thought people were just sending them mad fast or something. i'll be sure to keep checking until i have no more left waiting before i start reading, haha :3

Does anyone know if new friends can see your old sent notes?

@Tech: me too! the dribbled-along notes from Nikki with her little tips, they're somewhat maddening at times to be honest D:

I wish that they can add a feature in where you can see who sent the note without having to open it.

There's certainly little things i'd change with it, but my only real complaint at this point is that i wish it wasn't an application, but instead like the Friends List or Browser, where you can just suspend-state out of a game and pop into Swapnote for a second without having to exit your game.

Why this Nikki person for the tutorials? Why not Miyamoto?
