Topic: Replacing 3DS battery for first time, any tips?

Hello to all who may be reading, I have an OG Aqua Blue 3DS that I've been using since launch, and while I love the system dearly, I've lately noticed that the battery only lasts about an hour (almost never use the 3D, and the brightness is on a lower setting, maybe the lowest).

Now, I see on Amazon that replacement batteries go for about $10, but I was wondering if there are things I should know before buying one, since I've never done anything like this before for any of my systems. Does the price sound right? Could I potentially harm anything replacing it? Anything else I should know?

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks for reading (BTW, I do think I have the correct screwdriver size/type to take the back off, as I think one came with an RC "drone" I got as a gift a couple years ago).

You can get a replacement battery on Nintendo's online store. You need a #00 Philips head screwdriver to open the battery compartment.
Also, when you replace your battery, the clock and date settings are reset and you have to input them again.
