Gamefreak also needs to improve the tiny details like... when a Pokemon levels up and evovles... it should be displayed in a really cool and sleek way. And like I said before... If Megaevoultion is here to stay then at least let us choose our characters poses and personalize the experience.

All the forms keep their current names, but the Zygarde Perfect form will be known as Zygarde Complete in the West.

The Zygarde core and cells have NO moves and are not considered pokemon (That's extremely disappointing since I actually liked them..)

And Ash greninja is infact, not a mega evolution but some really stupid bond thing that happens every thousand years when greninja bond with their trainers....

Ugh, are you guys really this naive? It's obvious that most of the current info is anime related, especially the whole Greninja bit. The games have always had origins and plots that were more believable and less cringeworthy than the anime, while the anime has always refused to follow the games in term of plot or facts about the Pokemon themselves.

Edit: On the whole megastones issue, megastones are created from the energy beam produced by the Ultimate Weapon. The Devon Corp. is revealed to be using this technology and energy for various technological application. The meteorite that Rayquaza eats was powered by a machine on Mt. Chimney, using what can only be assumed to be Devon Corp. tech.

Game =/= Anime

I could care less what goes on in the anime, but I highly doubt the games are going to ignore the fact there is a new cosplay greninja form and the zygarde cells are meant to be absolutely helpless, possibly even not obtainable in the game since I can't see them keeping this "no move" trait with pokemon's current mechanics with having atleast 1 move. They'll probably get something weird like splash if they are treated as lifeless as shedinja.

The Zygarde core might be alright, it doesn't specify if he's no good but it don't seem much different from it.

I was very all for Z, but this information kinda makes me realize what a terrible direction we're already starting at..

These are the fans that annoy me, complaining at every direction Pokemon goes at. I personally can't wait for Z and I love the direction the Pokemon company is going at. I hope this continues.

@Kylo_Ren It's ironic you're attacking @MegaBeedrill. He's like the biggest and most reasonable Pokemon fan here. He wants to see the series grow and prosper just like you. Give him a break. He can be cautious and worried about games he love.

The descriptions and information we got seem to be more anime focused, and less game-focused. That's the main reason we don't have an "official" Pokemon Z confirmation yet. This CoroCoro was focusing on the anime aspects of everything since the anime special Mega Evolution Act (insert number here) is being heavily advertised and has been ever since we knew Zygarde was getting a new form, and that's primarily what its been for the past few months regarding Zygarde and his formes. The Greninja thing PRIMARILY refers to an event that occurs in either the Mega Evolution special, or the anime. I highly doubt that zygarde's cells or core will be usable as Pokemon in the games. However, the 10% Forme and Complete Forme most likely WILL.

Now I suggest you wait until we have more information involving the games before forming an opinion, because doing so at this point with as little information as we've received is subconsciously toxic towards your view later on. Preconceived notions are a waste of the imagination.

I have been literally the ONLY person in this thread and ORAS one next to probably morpheel that hasn't claimed anything wrong with Z or ORAS and has argued with everybody in this thread on how biased and unreasonable they're being, however when I suddenly change my opinion the world collaspes on me. Figures.

But seriously though, this is not looking good for Z.. the whole concept of the new zygarde formes is so flawed and out of place that I can't help but worry how over complicatedly stupid this may turn out in the end... Zygarde could've got a simply giratina treatment, but nah, instead he gets two forms we can't even use and don't know moves, and a dog like form that, while it looks pretty cool and I personally like it, seems very out of place as a "zygarde" based creature. The perfect form looks fine but I'm a bit salty it didn't take a more medusa like appearence.. that's biase on my end I'll eventually get over.

Again, I've pointed out how god awful the X/Y mega evolution theory was, and how insignificant Xerneas and Yveltal really are to the plot, and I'm extremely disappointed that zygarde is already heading down that road just by how the forms are named and changed alone... I'm fine with the whole "hive like" theme but even combee has something going for it... Combee isn't "10% vespiquen", it's just combee.. They really needed better ideas on the names for these.

And ash greninja.. how wonderful, one starter gets fan service over the others. I thought I couldn't hate greninja more, but now It's falling into the charizard route of being the only rememberable starter that gets special treatment.. if greninja or the others don't get a mega, I will be extremely upset and disappointed.. I picture the other starters getting cosplay outfits, but who cares about cosplay starters? We want something new.. not more cosplay pikachus which wasted roster slots for new megas.

We may get starter megas alongside cosplays, but still it's just.. why, it's so pointless.

You know, if the Devon Corp. is using Infinity Energy to power their technology, and Infinity Energy comes from the life force of Pokemon, does that mean that the Devon Corp. is killing Pokemon to use for their Infinity Energy?

@MegaBeedrill: It seems like each time I give a counter argument you look over it. We literally only have a small bit of information on Zygarde, and even then its not enough to know where the plot is headed. Wait until we actually have substantial information regarding this. We need more facts. I might also add that you should stop with the rude remarks. A thread is for discussing yes, but until we have substantial information there's no reason to start randomly speculating about things we have no evidince for or against for that matter.

I'll level with you though. I hate the whole idea of formes and I disliked the whole Kyerum thing. On the other hand, a legendary Pokemon does NOT make a game good or bad. I don't use legendary Pokemon anyway, what I care about is the overall plot and whether it grips me or not. I'm more curious about the features and the story, and we won't have any information on that until Gamefreak releases more information or the games come out.

I looked over your post because normally what you have to say to me is utter nonsense, you have nerve telling me to watch what opinion I form from the beginning when all you do is directly attack my opinions in an arrogant tone. NL Comments? I make a slight flaw and you attack me directly and no body else, NL Threads? You attack me specifically and discount everybody else's opinions. I learned to simply skip over your post to prevent an unecessary flame war in threads, as we already had one awhile back. I make a simple claim that gen 6 revolves around flowers, and I get a "False. Yveltal is a cocoon. Zygarde is most likely a larva.", rather than a "Yveltal is actually considered to be a cocoon according to blah blah" which seemed more like a direct dig at me than a civil discussion post (which Bolt_strike occasionally crosses the lines on with his "LOL" post).

Your post are only opinionated, and don't really add facts to the discussion, but rather insult differences in people (I'm a hypocrit, admitted).

Anyway, I'm not saying Z WILL suck, I'm saying I personally don't like the direction it IS heading as right now, my hopes for it are dwindling. I always have that "never judge until you try it" perspective, and I'm am infact not discluding that in my opinions, but rather focusing on what we do know right now, and what we do know now, I'm personally not a fan of.

Well, I was just making a point so please don't take it the wrong way. I do get him being cautious, but I didn't agree with his reasoning. I don't really know if he's the biggest fan here or the most reasonable, also I was just stating my point. Blast's post feels aggressive IMO.

I don't want to be the minimod, but let's go back to the actual discussion on zygarde and remember that opinion =/= facts. I can understand people trying to sway other's opinions with facts or explain where we might be flawed on, but we don't need to call each other specifically out on and stereotyping them voicing our thoughts.

My thoughts still stand:
Fact: CoroCoro has been focusing on the Mega Evolution special for the past few months.
Fact: Zygarde's forms first appeared in relation to the anime.
Assumption: Currently the focus is on the anime for the time being.
Assumption: It might not be the right time to begin judging this information in regards to the games.
Fact: the core and cell zygarde "formes" were revealed via anime.
Assumption: CoroCoro is still focusing on the anime depictions of the(se?) Pokemon.
Assumption: The Ash Greninja is an anime only feature.

So when do you guys think we'll be getting "Z"? I don't know if there was a time when the third legend's forms were revealed prior to the boxart. I know ORAS was just out of no where with box art and then we recieved information. Apparently the anime mega evolution special is very soon (I think I read next month?) which seems really early since we haven't even confirmed a game yet.

@MegaBeedrill: I'm guessing a spring release, similar to other third versions. Of course I'd happily until next October/November if it meant that they'd polish up their awful graphics. Seriously though, there are so many 3DS games that look better and use the system better. They need to spend some time learning how to make their games not look super jagged and pixelated. I want to actually see the faces of NPCs, as well as my character.

Honestly, I have no idea maybe on the 20th anniversary, but it will hopefully be released in the first Q1 of the year.
As for the announcement, it will probably be announced before Oct 29 when the new anime (which is called Pokemon X,Y and Z) is aired.

I do agree the "3D" environment didn't do the games much justice. I kinda liked the more pixel based DS/GB games as they allowed more imagination with your personallity, in gen 6 this doesn't work out as well since you pretty much can see your whole character up close, and from far away the pixel graphics just become fuzzy and hard to see, which looks strange in general.

Don't get me wrong I like the 3D sprites, but they seem a little more washed out and less smooth in models. (I liked their models in the pokedex 3D and even gates to infinity better, (not as smooth) they were both colorful, less washed out, and still realistic enough to be seen on a game like battle revolution.

ORAS feels a bit more colorful for some reason, but I think it's mostly due to the sunny beach like weather in most locations, and the megas in general have brighter colors like primal groudon and mega mence.

I always use volcarona as an example.. volcarona's wings where super bright red in gen 5, pokedex 3D, then become really washed out in gen 6.

I really like Zygarde's 10% form. The design looks very nice in my opinion, and I adore dogs (and animals in general) so I automatically love him. Can't wait to learn more about it, and...
