Just got a nice surprise when my Magneton evolved into a Magnezone while in the Vast Poni Canyon wasn't even trying to get one i just so happened to be in the right area with Magneton in my party. I think i just need Steelix, Slowking and Scizor for trade evolution not sure if there's more Gen 1 that evolve past what was possible before.
So I just pieced together the backstory of Your Boy Guzma (Never gets old).
it's HIS house on Route 2 with the swing, he even has bronze trophies covered in dust, an old photo album, an unused bed and a photo of him holding his challenge amulet with pride. Seems like a genuine kid. Until you see his mother is shy. There are broken and bent golf clubs filling a bag, and his Dad mentions having tried to Put him straight. What is it with this game and parental abuse?

Well I just encountered him there, so you're right.
Speaking of the pokedex, it seems that most (if not all?) previous gen pokemon got a new entry, which is nice, since I was sort of expectig a copy paste from a previous dex entry.
(this may be why there's no national pokedex entries yet?)
it took me only 1 ultra ball to catch Solgaleo w/paralysis. It took me 35 ultra balls, 1 dusk ball and hp down to 10% ish to catch Tapu koko. In his defense, I couldn't paralyze him and didn't have a pokemon with a sleep move that would last 1 turn with it. I head over to another island to catch Tapu Bulu and it took me 10 ultra balls. I was able to paralyze it and bring it to like 3% of it's health. I wouldn't mind the challenge being upped with the cover pokemon and it lightened up a teeny bit with these others. Instead of like 35, more like 20 balls used to catch it haha.

@MegaMari0 Legends with story importance, like one such as Zekrom or Solgaleo, which are enteined in plot either as wanting to join you or for gameplay and story integration (Battle N equally as he wants) have catch rates of 45.
Why Xerneas and Yveltal had that iunno.
Primal Groudon and Kyogre had a catch rate of 3, the lowest possible, any lower and a master ball can fail, and those two Pokemon are scary. Tapu Koko has 3 as well.
So it depends. Wild powerful out of control monsters, hard. Something that for plot wants you, 45. Giratina, Primal forms, Kyurem....
Now Playing: Mario & Luigi Brothership, Sonic x Shadow Generations
Now Streaming: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
-ate abilities were nerfed to 1.1% damage instead of 1.3%
This affects: Pinser-mega, salamence-mega, altaria-mega, gardevoir-mega, sylveon, glalie-mega, and i think that's about it.
Liquid Voice doesn't give any damage boost to begin with, just throwing that out there for primarina users. (its a bad ability)
So far this gen, we've seen nerfs to those pokemon as well as talonflame and kangaskhan. Ironically Aegislash got buffed because even if the move you use doesn't affect him, it still procs King's Shield so you get the stat drop.
@Haru17 Too much trouble just to say that you don't like the design in my opinion.
Anyway, nice to see you again guys, I have been avoiding the thread while I play the game. I managed to get a shiny lycanroc midday form and a shiny salazzle so I'm pretty happy with my luck this time, specially because those two are my favourite designs along with decidueye this generation. The other pokemon in my team are decidueye, incineroar, golisopod and vikavolt. I'm still on the third island, but I think I already have all the pokemon I want for my team in the story mode. Incineroar might be changed for tapu fini or another pokemon though.
I wasn't even planing to get one, but Muk completely overtook Persian in my team; Grimer was way cuter, and stronger. My character is even wearing the sludge line of clothes, so you could say Muk is my "main".
Persian now spends her time in the pokepelago, training for her uprising.
I am considering replacing Shiinotic with Mimikyu as my fairy, but she's been becoming more useful. So who knows.
Throughout the main quest, the best walls I discovered were Mudsdale (seems OP meta-wise) and Muk. I also ran Shiinotic for a while and its spore is insane. Way better than the other sleep-inducing moves, even yawn.
Oh yeah, Shiinotic's offensive options might not be very varied, but it's troll game is strong. Spore, strength sap, confuse ray, effect spore... It's fun.
But it's soooo slow.
I'm not sure if my muk could be considered a wall, but it's definitely my best attacker. He's cool.
Snorlax is another one I can consider swapping out for a better option, I mostly use it for hold back and happy hour. Let's hope something catches my eye.
