Gen 7 looks to be pretty loaded with content, just hope the post game is huge, the regional pokedex is huge, and mega evolution is still present, even if no new megas are added in this series of games, it would suck for pokemon that actually became cool and decent like mawile and beedrill to go back to being the most useless things in the game.

@FriedSquid can we consider ultrabeasts as pokémon? I'm thinking about this since they were announced...
Right, I guess they're not supposed to look like Pokemon either way. But I like it and UBs are probably the most mysterious things to come out of new Pokemon games — I'm highly intrigued too.
I'm thinking they're just additional legendaries you can find, and catch, perhaps each with their on story.
UBs would probably be like the legendary dogs, lake spirits, regies, genies, etc while the island guardians are another trio like latios/latias, cresselia, darkai, etc.
@Octane "Species and name are still shared, so they can't go crazy with the alternate forms." looks at Alolan Forms
Lugaruga's two forms look so different that I'm expecting different typing and stat spreads, as well as potentially abilities.
@Pikaintheheart Ultra Beasts are classified separately from Pokemon- thus, I fail to see why they aren't something else entirely. They seem like major storyline bosses.

@CrazedCavalier That's because Alolan forms have completely different types (and colours) design-wise, they're still similar. I don't think second forms of the starters will ditch their primary type or completely change colour, the will still be a green grass owl, a red/black fire tiger and a blue pinniped. I'd like to see a good change in the forms, but I don't think it'll be a huge change. Take Rowlet for example, if the last stage is known as the ''Archer Pokemon'' for example, then we can be sure that the second form will be a kind of archer as well. All I mean to say is that the difference won't be like Poliwrath and Politoed or Glalie and Froslass. In the end, they are still forms and not split evolutions.
@Octane Split forms could still functionally be split evolutions- the designs may not be completely different, sure, but everything else about them could easily be unique.

@Tsurii If you take the "mosquito monster" aesthetic from UB02 Expansion (I can't believe we're calling it that), and "hyper-feminized" aesthetic from UB02 Beauty, I reckon you end up with something like Mosquito Girl:
As for UB02 Expansion alone, I reckon it looks like just about every super-steroid enemy in OPM ever, or probably any action show ever. I suppose Carnage Kabuto is as good an example of an absurdly overmuscled foe as any:
Dragon Ball Z would probably be another good place to look. I've never actually watched an episode, but it seems to involve lots of muscles. And I haven't seen any of JoJo either, but I'll look up the Stands!
@MegaBeedrill Considering the website doesn't classify the Ultra Beasts as Pokemon and it mentions how they are "seen as a threat to humans and Pokemon", I'd say that the Ultra Beasts aren't Pokemon at all.
Maybe they're humans experimented and turned into pokemon or vice versa. Perhaps the aether foundation made them so they're uncapturable pokemon through human DNA and that's why they seem to share human like qualities of various characters.
Just a theory with how protective they are.

Also I agree with @Maxz, Muscle Mosquito reminded me of some anime thing but I couldn't put my finger on it. Definitely seems like a minor OPM character or a JJBA stand of some sort. I also thought a robot from Pacific Rim...
@Octane While believable, a lot of it feels like it's just playing safe and piggybacking off of the Chinese leak (which gets more and more legit every reveal).
That said, give me Arrow Apocalypse!

Was believable until the last line with the damsel Z-move. A Substitute like move sounds weird for a Z-move, definitely an off putting thing to an otherwise believable post.

Damsel in distress evolution of Popplio? Furries are going to have a field day with that one if that's real (no offense to any furries, but yeah...). Not sure that's a good concept for a Pokemon though.
@Octane I want to believe that leak. The themes work nicely. If the designs are right, I'm still picking Rowlet, but I think I'll go for the healer, not the archer.
