@Haru17 Yeah, that's my problem too this ''leak''. I realised that as soon as I posted them. Since it was from an anonymous poster, it didn't have much credibility to begin with, but I thought they were interesting nontheless, especially since the CoroCoro leaks can pop up anytime now.
For reasons Haru mentioned, I'm not sure that I buy the "leak" about Electabuzz and Magmar. Revamping their 4th Gen forms definitely doesn't fit the pattern for Alolan evolutions. I find Alolan Ekans and Arbok slightly more believable. It's very possible that multiple Alolan Pokemon are exclusive to each version.
Since these are uncomfirmed, however, I'm taking everything with a bag of salt.
IIRC their pattern on their chest or back is changed for each region/generation. Basically its johton, hoenn, sinnohan, unovian, kalosian, alolan arbok regardless.
EDIT: apparently that stoped in gen 4-6. Gen 2 and 3 are the same, but the firered leafgreen arboks are different.
@MegaBeedrill Wouldn't call those regional forms, just GameFreak's incapability to keep his design consistent. Gen 1 and 2 were always inconsistent in their designs, the RS sprite seems to be based on the GSC sprite. Since FRLG they kept the sprite true to the original Sugimori artwork.
The September 2010 issue revealed Servine, Pignite, and Dewott. The September 2013 issue revealed Quilladin, Braixen, and Frogadier.
Just something to note.
If they keep to that pattern, it's possible that we'll have an idea about how accurate those Chinese leaks are with the final evolutions. I sort of hope not.
Dang, it's been a while since I wanted to see the CoroCoro scans this badly.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet - The Indigo Disk, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
@Tyranexx Well considering that Rockruff and the starters are supposed to share a secret and they're going to reveal Rockruff's secret, I'd imagine there's a pretty good possibility we'll see the middle stage of the starters.
I should also point out that those issues of CoroCoro were the last ones before Black/White and X/Y came out. We still have 3 issues of CoroCoro before Sun/Moon release, so it's quite possible that we'll have to wait until November to see the middle stages of the starters.

Pokemon black/white was released on September 18th tho. The corocoro only revealed something that was being shown literally a few days after.
X/Y was released on October 12th, one month after the reveal.
Now we're expecting S/M on November 18th, so this would be 1 or 2 months earlier than they would normally show start evos.
There's isn't a particular pattern besides the starters for both gens being shown in September since the release of the actual games is still inconsistent to get an idea how close they want us to know that information.
Either way, either theory would be proven tomorrow most likely. They might not even show them in corocoro and just throw a trailer at us eventually unrelated, they seem to do a 2 reveal per month pattern for sun and moon rather than corocoro exclusive like ORAS.
Wasn't there a point where the anime for a generation started before the actual games were released? I don't know why but I feel like the first episode of gen 4's animated series was prior to DP's release.. unless I'm just thinking of the two movies for lucario and manaphy.
EDIT: Actually... now that I think about it, gen 7 is the only gen to ever have no pokemon given anime appearences prior to the gen's introduction and release. During gen 1 we had gen 2 mons like topepi in anime, in gen 2 we had latios and latias given movies before they were in gen 3, gen 3 we got the lucario and manaphy movie, then gen 4 we got the zoroark movie, then gen 5 we seen mega mewtwo Y in the genesect movie, but nothing in gen 6 has shown anything of gen 7 besides the zygarde forms and theorectically zygarde was susposed to be special for gen 6 not gen 7, we even had in-game moves implying Z was a plan before S/M.
Magearna is a Gen 7 Pokémon. And..I guess everyone already forgot about it lol
Well this is a good sign, gen 7 didn't even start and I already forgot about the new gen 7 diancie we're getting.
wait diancie was gen 6- oh yeah now I remember why I forgot magearna...
@Haru17 looking back at it now, It just occured to me they made a porygon evolution that has a constant seizure with swirly eyes even after the events that happened many years ago... talk about well thought out designs.
