I really hope that the Pokémon transferred from R/B/Y will have "Kanto forms" or something of the sort (fat Pikachu? Ugly Wigglytuff? Anorexic hunchback Mewtwo?). I doubt that this will be the case, but a guy can dream.

ANY ways, are the Aloha forms linked to trading between rby and sun and moon, how differances in old Stat data being transfered to a newer version of the pokemon game will work. Stuff like that.

You didn't insult me, don't worry about it. I just wanted more clarification.
Anyway, the Pokemon imported from the VC games will probably retain their original forms and only Pokemon obtained in SM can have Alola Forms. For stats, they probably recalculate them when they're transferred to Bank. Natures are probably randomly generated. As for abilities, they might randomly generate those but there's also the question of HAs, and I think Pokemon transferred from RBY will simply have their HAs.
Speaking of Alola Forms though, I'm curious as to how breeding would work with them. How can you get an Alola Form or a regular form by breeding? I would guess that the female could pass down its form in the same way it can pass down its species, but they haven't mentioned this (and they probably won't, we'll just figure it out for ourselves when the game comes out).

I'm guessing that's how it will work. The games would likely treat each Pokemon (normal and Alolan forms) as their own species and keep the same egg groups. It's possible that the Alolan subspecies would be slightly more compatible than a completely different species.
...Technically, we've had this "divided subspecies" concept going on for little while with Pokemon like Shellos and Basculin. O_o Just not at such a drastic level such as completely changing the type.
Personally, I think it'd be really cool if breeding hybrids between a Pokémon's normal species and its Alolan species would be possible. I know it's highly unlikely to happen though.

Well, the first time we saw this kind of "same but different" thing was with the Nidorans, I guess.
Then a more similar case would be wormadam.
I think it would be nice if these Alolan forms introduced new egg moves for their normal counterparts. And vice versa too, imagine that icetales using flamethrower and ninetales using ice beam.

That's my next question, would Pokemon from one form be able to pass down its moves to the other via breeding? Because that could be a huge game changer. With that example, Ninetales getting Ice Beam would be great coverage against Ground and Dragon types and Flamethrower could help Ninetales-A against Steel types. I could see that really shaking up competitive.
Please no, might as well slap Earthquake on a Caterpie then. Ninetales using Ice Beam makes absolutely no sense. I know there's plenty of consistencies already, but we don't need more. We're getting already close to the point where every Pokemon can learn every move, it just doesn't make sense anymore. Why can a Pikachu learn Toxic? Get that out of here.
@Haru17 Because it doesn't make sense that the Alolan forms can pass on moves, that would also mean that regular Exeggutor could learn Dragon Tail, or that Sandslash could learn Ice Ball. I don't think it would make sense for Ninetales to pass moves between its forms either, because I can't see the other Pokemon do the same.

I was thinking more of differences brought on by regional location, not so much gender differences. I did think of mentioning Burmy/Wormadam, but figured the two I listed conveyed the idea enough. XD
But who knows? Maybe there will be Alolan Nidoran as well. This time the females could be purple, and the males a light blue.

I want a new Lapras so much. I was astounded how they went to all the trouble of giving you one in XY, only to not give it a mega. I guess it's for the best now that megas are gone, though. But it needs a new form / evolution / subspecies stat.
Nobody said that "megas are gone". I think Game Freak are merely trying to showcase content that differentiates Sun/Moon from previous games in the series (and it isn't in anybody's interest to spoil everything prior to release). If nothing else, spin-off games like Pokémon Shuffle could benefit from some additional megas.
