@maceng: The Cresselia levels have less annoying disruptions from level 51 to about 95, so you should be able to get through those levels without too much difficulty. For these levels, Cresselia has slightly higher HP than before, but it seemed like less disruptions in general (No Solosis levels, for example). You should still have plenty of time left if you play somewhat regularly.
First, Banette should be your Mega, and make sure you drag him early on when matching to get him evolved. And yeah, all of the ones I used were max level, so perhaps spend some time grinding level 130 since the escalation battles are still going until Sunday. You don't need to only use Ghosts. I liked to have two, and then Genesect (if you have him).
As previously stated, after level 50 the levels are pretty much the same, just more HP to deal with.
EDIT: Just reread it and saw you use Mega Banette. So disregard the first part.
I've been using Mega Banette, Girtaina,. Gebgar and Misdreavoous. But lately, I switched Misdreavous for Chandelure, as it helps Mega banette evolve more quickly. Sadly, Chandelure is sitting at level 5 (both Giratina and gengar at 8, and Banette at 7). So, there is plenty of grinding to do til Sunday.
Is it just me or is mega blaziken bad? or am I just not using the ability right?
Yeah, it's not a great ability — like a super weak Mega Mewtwo/Banette and probably the weakest mega ability there is — but at least it evolves quickly with just 12 tiles (9 with speedups) and the attack power is decent and it's super effective against 4 types unlike the normal-type megas. I guess it could be useful with complexity-1 or a 3-pokemon stage so that there are enough Blaziken that it realistically will continue setting itself off, but pretty much any mega would do well under such ideal circumstances.
@iphys: You are right. I tried Mega Blaziken with other two fire Pokemons (Ninetales and Heatran) on a 4 pokemon stage (Shuckle) and it went pretty alright. I cleared the whole screen on the second move, as it evolves quite rapidly.
@3DSWiiUFanatic: I managed to beat level 50 (level 46 was very hard, had to try it three times). But after level 50, everything has been so easy. I'm currently at level 73 (I only had to repeat level 72), and looking forward for the special coin stage (level 75).
Using a level 7 Banette, level 9 Gengar, level 8 Giratina and level 5(!!) Chandelure. An whole ghost team allows Banette to clear the screen quite frequently and rack a lot of points (usually 1,200-2,000).
Wow, Blaziken is even worse than I thought. Was testing it on Buneary where you don't have a lot of pokemon on the screen, because I thought maybe that would help cluster the generated Blaziken together and make it more effective, but sometimes when I matched the only 3 Blaziken on the screen I'd only get 2 generated. At first I thought it was from doing cross matches and other tiles disappearing where a Blaziken might have been generated, but even if the Blaziken match is the only match it happens like it's replacing one of the Blaziken that is disappearing with a Blaziken that I just never get because the tile is disappearing. I really hope they fix this ability in an update, because replacing 3 pokemon with Blaziken doesn't even match the discription of "erasing" 3 pokemon, and if you're only getting 3 Blaziken generated, doing it to tiles that are already Blaziken and being erased means you could potentially get nothing out of making a match of 3.
I can't believe people spend real money on this. I'll admit I spent 1$ to get a better chance at a megastone but that was it and I don't plan on ever spending another cent. 200 hours plus now and I really need to stop playing because my other games are getting neglected.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
