I haven't played this in months, but will probably start from scratch whenever it's released on Android. I know the reveal trailer only said "Coming Soon", but is there any more concrete time frame?

I only have 2 more expert pokemon to catch, then I need to focus on S Rank. Any tips on S Ranking expert levels? Which levels does the Jewel trick work on?
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
@DefHalan: The Jewel Trick may increase your time but you still have to finish the level after. Also the jewel only gets you about 15 seconds. most S ranks require 50% of time availible. Only Expert stages with time less then 30 seconds would be possible to srank with a jewel, (entei, suicune, raikou). Anything at 30 seconds would be impossible as you would have less then a half second to finish after the use of a jewel as the 15 second recovery is 50%.
I would suggest the time increase instead. It may only add 10 seconds to the clock but it does apply to the s-rank even if it does not apply to the catch rate.
@Klimbatize:
Sorry. For normal stages when you buy extra moves with the jewels, they indeed don't add to the catchability percentage.
Still, I managed to catch every single expert level Pokemon without the extra time (except Blaziken, but it has only like 60 attack points), and even without any special power ups (except for Xerneas and Yvetltal; I'm currently traying to get Mewtwo). So, jewels serve better to buy coins, except if you use them again Pokemons like Xerneas, Yveltal, MewTwo. Not even Mega Gengar requires much trouble as using Powerups is more effective.
@DefHalan:
It is not broken, If you keep hitting the Optimize button, it will switch to Ampharo. Shuffle just selects attack compatible Pokemons on the Mega Slot, regardless of their attack power.
So now that the new special stages are here, I can not believe that I caught Cresselia on the 5th escalation level. I'm surprised I never caught Giratina with this luck. I also caught Arceus with my new Mega Lucario as well. All thats left to do is build up money for dealing with the Mega Blaziken competition, catching the daily Pokémon, and gear up for any future competitions/legendary Pokémon to come.
@SuperPokefan95:
Lucky you!!
I'm playing using 4 3DS at the same time (for the Streetpasses hits), and only managed so far to capture Cresselia on one of them (at the 5th escalation, no less).
@Rob_mc_1:
Agree with you. I usually beat firstly the Extra Stage's Pokemon without any Powerups (with 3-5 sec left) and then I use them to get a decent chance of catching them.
I'm not going to be OCD and waste 7 hearts to get 7 coins to get back to that 0 digit when I could get a couple thousand coins from Meowth instead. Plus, they might do 1-coin stages again, or you might some day max out your coin count at 99,999 and be off again anyway.
@iphys: they might do 1 coin levels again, but I doubt I will ever max out my coins. That might be the case if I had everything caught and S-ranked like some people, but I don't lol

For a game that's free to play I've spent a ridiculous amount of time on this. I'm upwards of 150 hours with no end in sight. Why, I have no clue. Maybe I'm turning into a casual gamer? I sure hope not.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
You are becoming a casual dad <thunder sound effect>, soon you'll start downloading movie tie-in games to your smartphone and use your 3DS to play only brain age.
You would play animal crossing too, but it's too complicated.
