Can hardly stand using my fingers for games so I'll still be using the 3ds version.
I will be sticking with the 3DS version as well. However, if they let us sync up our game saves, doubtful, then I would still download it to maximize my coin grinding lol
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
I heard there are a few differences in the mobile version beta test so far and that it isn't a direct port. From what I remember, the things that stand out are that mobile is currently up to 30ish Pokemon, have currently different special competitions compared to 3DS at the moment, they're on Mew. There are currently special events that are once per day similar to how Victini and Rich Meowth work and currently there's a special event that costs 2 hearts.
No one is sure if they'll allow sync yet, but I really don't mind since I'm so used to playing it on my 3DS. The biggest issues would be from timed stages if transitioning I think.
What I'd like to see implemented that no one has mentioned is for Shuffle Mobile and mobile ports going forward to have Lite StreetPass support with the 3DS, so 3DS owners that don't live in Japan might actually get an increase in StreetPasses if they encounter Android or iPhone players. That'd be a good selling point to worried Nintendo fans I think.

I kinda stopped playing the normal levels in favor of the constant special levels we're getting... Also because I can't beat doublade and I don't want to use coins on it.
This competition had less then 100,000 people/pokemon entering then precious ones, which is good I guess because I didn't really try this time, got over 9000 points, and made it in the 25,000 range.
I made Sheldon & Mr. Randoms back on Flipnote Hatena, now i'm a kangaroo mod that has a funko pop collection!
I'm not keen politics since that stuff is spooky, I'd rather watch SpongeBob over Fox News anyways!
It seems like they're beginning to add enough content that buying more hearts is becoming a lot more tempting. The constant additions/changes to the special stages diverts all of my time away from getting coins or trying to S rank levels. Because of that I still haven't caught the recent additions to the expert stages. This game has come a LONG way.
I like Mega Ampharos more than Mega Manectric. Since they have the same base stats I don't really see myself leveling him up. The main stages are definately getting harder. Still have to test out Mega Heracross.
Well I can only hope that they finally bring out a mega fire type.
Jirachi seems good, with the 70 base attack and Mega Boost + (for use with Mawile, or whatever other steel types get their mega stones — Steelix, e.g.). I'm happy with this update if only for another Mega Stone (Heracross) even if its mega ability sounds kinda lame. I like Mega Manectric too, it's mega ability is slightly different from Ampharos, plus he has hitting streak instead of useless Dancing Dragons.
I thought Avalugg was pretty tough (in terms of getting S-rank), because he does constant ice disruptions, so I bought Mega Start, Disruption Delay and Moves plus 5, and was able to beat him with 20 moves left. The mega start alone might make a big difference for S-ranking him. I enjoyed all the new main levels. Keep them coming, Nintendo
Wow, finally, I've caught all the new Pokemon and S-Ranked the newly added stages. That took a lot longer than it should have, stupid Excadrill. Now, back to work on grinding some money and levels towards S-Ranking Chesnaught and Greninja.
Has anyone used their Mega Speed Ups yet? I'm currently still debating on which Pokemon I should use them on, I only have 3/4 possible. Any suggestions? I was thinking M-MewtwoY for Meowth on Sundays, but at the same time, I think it's kind of a waste.
I wonder when we are going to see a Fire Mega Evolution. Also, the one stage I used him, Mega Heracross is pretty freaking awesome.

I guess there are 2 ways to look at the mega speed ups. do you want to use it on Pokemon that only need one or two as it is to speed them up to a point where you don't really need mega starts for them or do you use them on a slow one that takes 8 to make it so a mega start is the only way to see the mega Pokemon before moves run out.
To me any of the faster evolving ones are usually weaker. I decided to put them all on Banette. I really like his ability. Was it the right choice, don't know.
@Morpheel: I did the same and I'd say it's been a good choice to this point. He's one of the best Megas by far, and having him available even a little faster is awesome. I only have one more speed up, and I'm not sure who to try after though.
Is anyone else finding the optimize button to be more broken? I selected it and it put Manectric with Attack power of 66 as my mega and Ampharos with attack power 82 as my 3rd Pokemon. That doesn't make sense to me. Ampharos is the better choice for my Mega and I had other electric power that were stronger than Manectric.

The optimize button will always put a random mega with type advantage and the three strongest Pokemon with type advantage as backup.
Power has no significance for the mega slot.
Anyway... Arceus! His base power is 90, wow. Too bad it is normal type, but hey, it's the strongest Pokemon yet.
I am coin grinding to try to catch him. By my calculations I need 18800-ish. I wasn't even able to beat him with the optimized line-up. Got any suggestions for a line up?

Re: Arceus On two of my 3DS systems, I spent 6500 for Attack power up, Disruption Delay and Mega Start WITH Mewtwo,Victini, Lucario, and Pangoro (any strong fighting types will work). On those two systems I caught Arceus without the use of a great ball starting at 35 and 37% capture rate.
Last night on my wife's system, I spent the 6500 for those items, similar team and finished him with 20 moves left which meant 43% capture rate. It took two great balls to catch him. I recommend having at least 11500 before you start, and be ready to throw great balls. More money would be ideal, because you don't want to have to do it again. As far as trying to beat Arceus without using all 3 of those items, I'm not sure it's worth it because you probably won't beat him as quickly, and thus won't have as high a capture rate for the great ball to double. (I wouldn't bother on compexity-1 because it's too expensive.) I didn't bother buying Moves+5 because it's irrelevant to the capture rate.
Is Greninja (EX24) the last Expert stage available right now? I finally S-ranked all the main stages and expected a new Expert stage to unlock, but none did. I just want to make sure I am not missing anything.
