I would have never guessed Weezing was so useful until I played a HeartGold Nuzlocke! My YouTube Channel! Video game related, of course! My Pushmo Levels
Not really... Dragon and Normal types aren't very useful in this game, as they are only supereffective on one or zero (respectively) types, and therefore are not viable without a very good ability in this game (as double damage is better at this point in the game).
The only one of those types who is quite good at the moment is Snorlax, and even then his ability is only situational. Until Rayquaza gets a mega, it will always be outdone by Xerneas and Dragonite, and even then, it'll have to be a very good one.
Mega Blastoise is only situationally useful, as it tends to remove a large number of disruptions, but also stops Combos dead. That's why Mawile and Gengar, and similar are more useful - They keep the combo going.
Kyogre and Groudon on the other hand have a good super-effectiveness spread, and abilities that are highly useful (especially Groudon's Quake against anything that uses disruptions)
@TheXReturns Ah that makes sense. Yeah normal types hardly do anything ever.
These stages get pretty demanding starting at Jungle Verde. I have to make sure I get all these specifics right, like apparently abilities only trigger on the pokemon you moved and damage increases in a combo so you should get the stronger/supereffective move to go second.
oh and, picking Pokemon with the right ability. Thank you Corsola.

Talking of rolling around again, Mega Lucario's back!
Tempted not to take part to give others a chance to get it, but they're offering 2 jewels to those who already have Lucarionite! (one default jewel for participation)
I'll try Mega Lucario once just to get a jewel but won't try to get a highscore since I don't want to screw anyone who doesn't have its Mega Stone yet.

I'm still stuck on Mewtwo Y...so can't help you with that one.
Has anyone here caught Togekiss? Is it worth it?

Wow, having a real hard time catching Shuckle. I got 3 shakes at 16%, so I used a great ball and it broke after the first shake... now I have no money.

I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
I've caught every Pokémon besides Genesect. That includes every event Pokémon. I'm gathering some coins so it will be easier to catch Genesect and get S rank from some of the levels I haven't S ranked yet.

Did you catch Shuckle today already?

Yes. Caught it on 8th try. Didn't use any items since the stage itself is easy but the base 10% + 3%/turn means that you have to be a bit lucky.

Lucky. Maybe on my 8th try I will get it. I have also been trying to get some S ranks while I grind up for the expert levels. I am impressed so many seem to have this game almost 100% done and just wait for events.

Yeah I've kinda convinced myself that Shuckle isn't worth it; I'm now trying to catch Xerneas for the Lucario event instead. Man is it a pain...

luckily I got the Lucario Stone during the first event, so I don't really care for this one. So i am going to be able to focus on Shuckle today and continuing to grind out S Ranks and Pokemon Levels. I can't believe how some Expert Levels are only 15 seconds. How do you S Rank those things?

@DefHalan: +5 moves / +10 seconds is a great way to get S ranks since it's cheap and counts towards ranks. That's what I've used for the stages I couldn't S rank without items and if that isn't enough then I use some other items (mainly Mega stages). I S ranked half of the EX levels without using any items but you need a combination of skill and luck.

My first goal is to catch 'em all which the added moves/seconds don't count towards. I guess once I am able to catch them S Ranking them shouldn't be to hard.

Exactly on my 8th try I got him... weird
