Just successfully caught a Moltres that had a 1% catch rate and I was too slow to get a screenshot of it. If only I didn't look away to save myself from that pokeball shaking suspense (scored 8121 though).
The only 2 left to catch is Blaziken and Yveltal. IMO Blaziken feel like the hardest Ex stage to even beat and I'm using 3 ground Pokemon with 74 attack power (and various mega Pokemons).

Spent all my hearts last night and FINALLY caught Zoroark. I o feel less of an urge to play every day now that Mew isn't getting me 1000 everyday, I already caught the daily pokemon, and Kyogre. I hope a new daily Pokemon starts up soon. Also wish they would add a notification system to let me know when I can check in everyday.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

They did, The "Check in" box has a blue point/light when you can check in that day.

I meant more of a system thing. Like the Streetpass light to turn blue when I can check in.

I haven't spent a single euro on this and yet I got to Mega Glalie, how do you beat that monster? It freezes everything, literally. It looks like an impossible stage.
I really don't like the navigation bar of Nintendo Life continuously reappearing while browsing!!
I think I ended up using my free Complexity -1 power-up in order to beat Mega Glalie.
I've completed the first 150 stages (and caught all of the Pokémon). I'm working on completing them all again and attaining S-rank and gradually working my way through the expert stages (I've completed about 10 of those so far).
Porygon did nothing wrong.

So I finally caved in and decided to spend some of my jewels. I've accumulated 14 so far, and I spent 6 on hearts and another 6 on coins. If I had paid for the jewels, it would have cost me AU$11.70. And these pick-ups only yielded an additional hour of gameplay. One hour of gameplay for $11.70. A rip-off right there if there ever was one. Worse still, is that if you buy hearts, your 5 free hearts will stop replenishing, which has made me reconsider ever buying hearts again. Really, the paid hearts should continue to include the 5 free hearts. Buying hearts is therefore pointless unless you intend to use them all up in a single sitting. I've learned my lesson. Save your jewels for the coins as they are much more difficult to accumulate.

time to go catch the ones I missed and then take on the expert stages!
as for my megas, I tend to like slowbro since the combo potential is amazing, gengar is another good one but my favorite is amphardos for the combo potential and being able to clear chunks of the board
Well thanks to a gem for time, I finally beat and capture Blaziken with a 38% capture rate. Just Yvetal and Mewtwo to catch if I can ever S rank the terrible 3 Mega boss to unlock the stage for Mewtwo.
Not sure if everyone know this but unlike using your coins to extent time/turns, If you use your gem at the end to extend for turns or time (the lower the time/turns you begin with, the better), what's remaining goes to the capture rate.

I always wondered this, but never spent a gem to find out. Thanks for letting us know.
I only have two Expert 'mons to capture and I have them all. I've S ranked all but two of the regular levels (need to build up some more coins to do that), and I have an A rank or better on 18 expert levels.
It's been a fun experience for me, and I haven't spent a penny. I look forward to any updates to go beyond the initial 150.
I find Mega Sableye and Mega Gengar great for combos, so I use those two most of the time
Do you care if they are super effective, normal or not very effective?
I care, but if the damage is normal I use mostly those 2 AND Mega Slowbro, the latter is also very good for making big combos. And sometimes when I play a stage with few moves I don't use Mega evolution, unless it's super effective
Okay, I think I'll save some coins in order to get items to beat that freezing maniac.
@MorphMarron Spending money on this game would send a signal to Nintendo that I don't want to send so no way I'd do that. The only DLC I've bought this generation is Mario Kart 8 bundle (and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Dual Destinies additional chapter once I've beaten the included ones!).
Makes me wonder if they've meet their expectations with this game, seeing how most people here didn't even need to spend a cent to enjoy the game.
I think their best option to monetize this game by now would be offering additional level packs as paid dlc.
I could see them offering an unlimited Hearts purchase (maybe for about $40, the price of a retail game) and continue to have events free. So people can really choose how much they want to play. That would also allow them to see if people prefer the pay all at once or free-2-play side. People still have the option to not pay, but others have the choice to play unlimited and just check in for bonuses. Just a idea. I would be tempted to pay for Unlimited Hearts lol
