Ugh Haxorus' stage is a literal puzzle.

yay I finally beat Mewtwo Y. I'm not too proud of it, but I had to use a ton of coins to use many of the items to finish it.

It seems that was the last level?

I couldn't make it through the tutorial because Togepi refused to be caught. Done with this game. Wake me up when Puzzle & Dragon Z comes out.

This game is called Pokemon Shuffle because your progress is never faster than a shuffle!

I played this, but I seriously recommend you guys to get Pokémon Link Battle instead. It's €7,99 but you can play unlimitedly, and you are more free in your moves. The gameplay is just better, and I find it to be a lot more fun.

Well, I beat the main game in a week and a half. Outside of the "wait to play" nature, the only thing that can slow you down is your own desire to not continue until you catch everything.

Am I the only one who runs out of hearts on a regular basis? I'm only on stage 16 after 2 days...I was on stage 16 in an hour in Puzzle & Dragon on the iPad, and that was free-to-play, too. This game has no excuse for how stingy it is.

Some of these stages are just awful, and they don't tell you what restrictions there are in every level before you start the level, so you're never well-equiped on your first time through...

I usually advanced about 15+ levels each day, coming back to play regularly about 4 or 5 times a day.

Don't focus on catching them all, just get good elemental coverage as you need it.

I have been focusing on catching them all and I am above 110 currently. I do continue to make progress as well however. I do get upset when I have 70% chance of catching and it doesn't work

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Eel

I decided to just get the ones I'd need and get the rest after I had a stronger team. Right now I'm catching them all/grinding levels to be able to survive the hard levels

Oh and the registry thing gave me a free complexity -1, that will be useful.

I just came back from playing P&D, and...seriously, I could go on all freakin' day about everything that game does better for the same amount of cost. I played an hour and a half with no breaks, and only stopped because I had to take the dog out. I was nowhere near close to using up all my plays, nor am I even scratching the surface of that game's complexity. I'm totally done with Shuffle now. It's the type of poor man's clone I'd expect from a sleezy iPhone developer, and the perfect example of why I generally stay away from F2P games.

Ayyyee, this is exactly how I was feeling about Shuffle a few pages back! I just can't get the most enjoyment out of this after having played P&D. If anything this game is just making me want to redownload it for my new phone. Shuffle is way too restricting with its pay to play wall, but honestly I think a large part of it is just how good P&D is. I can never truly enjoy a match three game ever again, its just perfect. It does much more than match 3 and has a good amount of depth for a free to play game.

That said I played Shuffle some more last night and did find it kind of fun. Finally got to the online bonus stuff. Its charming and I can see why others lime it, but its not for me.

One last thing: Having to wait over 2 hours just to play for 10-15 minutes is a pretty big sign that they're doing something wrong...

Never been much of an issue with me. Then again I play most of my games like I have ADHD, playing one game for a short bit before moving to another or taking a break. Maybe that why I haven't beat and/or complete any games for some time.

A dying animal struggles, thrashes and howls in protest as its life torn from it. To see this in action, watch Animal Planet. The same thing happens when a video game is or isn't released. To see this in action, stay here.

I do agree, the wait is quite excessive for what you get in return.

@CanisWolfred Out of curiosity, how is the F2P model structured in P&D? (I've never played it myself).

To put it simply: It's pretty much perfect. You're still limited by energy, but it refills every time you level up. This does slow down after Rank 9, but you also gain more energy capacity as you go. Most everything can be easily accessible by just playing the game, which consist of multi-battle "dungeons" instead of single fights, and each dungeon has its own energy capacity. So far it's usually been 3 per dungeon, but every once in a while I'll get one that costs less. Also, you're guaranteed to get something so long as you clear the stage. There's daily bonuses, login bonuses, special dungeons, a lottery where you're guaranteed a rare monster, and an Endless Dungeon that doesn't seem to cost energy, but doesn't seem to have any obvious rewards, either - it's just there for bragging rights (though it might also be good for practice). The only limits are money and monsters - you can only carry 20 monsters [EDIT: I just found out you can increase the capacity with magic stones), and up to 5 of them can be used in a party (and unlike the Mega Evolutions, most useable monsters have skills), and once you hit the max you either have to come out empty-handed, sell off a monster, or fuse monsters to make them stronger. Obviously the last option is the best, but it costs in-game currency. I seem to get 100-400 gold per dungeon so far, but the cost scales with every level - if you want to get a most up to max so you can upgrade him, you'll have to be strategic, or risk spending too much gold. I actually ran out of gold by the time I was done playing earlier, though I didn't notice at first. Next time I play I may have to sell something. There's also friend-related activities and other social features that are meant to make it more likely for you to get experience and gold.

I'm honestly very interested to see how they tried to convince people to pay over 4000 yen for P&DZ, when they're already giving away so much...

I haven't had any problem with the wait in this game so far... I mean, why would I play it for more than 15 minutes at a time?

I would end up bored and neglecting the game like with Trozei.

...because these games are supposed to be addicting by nature. Could you imagine playing Tetris for less than 15 minutes? I can't. That'd be like, two rounds at most...
