Topic: Pokemon Shuffle

The hassle was the catching, not beating him btw.
The game is trolling me anyway! lol ^^
Caught Pokemon with a 10~20% chance on first try several times.
Some with 70%+ took me several tries..

Wait, this game is actually good and gives free jewels all the time. As I supposed, this is not the end of the world

That Gengar level is BS.

I beat it with 2 moves left, and only had a 10% catch rate (and naturally lost it), so I then used a "+5 Moves" perk and finished with 7 moves left, but still only had a 10% catch rate! WTH!?

Those extra turns do not count towards the catchability boost.

You technically finished the level with two turns left both times, the second time you just had an extra 5-turn safety net (which btw you did not technically get to use).

Edit: oh heh, I just got to that level, gengar more or less defeated himself with 9 turns left, and then stayed in the ball.

Bring Haunter to the fight.

^Oh well, I guess I'll just keep trying, then (I did have Haunter, BTW).

I actually got rather lucky, even with 9 turns left the catchability was just 30-so% :S

I used a Great Ball for Gengar.

I've played 10 stages today and caught every Pokemon I fought against even though couple of them had under 20% catch rate. It seems I'm lucky today.

Have people been able to catch the daily Roton with a regular ball? I spent all 5 turns on him, 4 of them had a catchability above 55%, the last one at 77%, and he escaped every time on the first jiggle of the ball. Just wondering if it needs a Great Ball because with a rate that high it almost always at least waits till the third jiggle to escape.

@Xyphon22 I caught mow Rotom yesterday, I think I was very lucky because it had like ~15% catch rate. I'm still trying to catch the flying one though

@Xyphon22: I've caught 4 out of 5 Rotoms in a normal ball. The first one I caught with a great ball because I didn't have time to try it again and didn't want to wait another week to get a second chance.

Ugh Mega Gengar.

I can tell it's not as bad as glalie, but it's being a bother anyway.

Does anyone know how much you can level up a pokemon? I am guessing/hoping it isn't 100

so far got every rotom in a regular ball except the expert stage one(haven't tried to catch it yet)

Well, after 30 or so tries, I finally caught Gengar (but man, I drained all my coins on earlier tries...).

I think the game felt bad for me, because a couple of stages later, it let me catch Zoroark the first time, with only a 14% catch rate, lol.

On the topic of the special Rotoms, I guess I've been lucky, as I've caught all of them the first time with a normal ball.

I only used a great ball with the last rotom... Mostly because I didn't want to play the level twice.

I assumed the jungle temple world would be the last, but hey I can see part of another world in the corner, yay~

I probably took about 15 tries to catch Gengar and finally caught him with just a 6% chance, lol. I tried coins for mega evolution start once and disruption delay once, and it didn't seem to make any real difference in improving my odds at the end, so I just kept trying without using any more coins till I got it.

I have not been able to catch dedenne. I even tried using a Great Ball which brought my chances up to 50% and it failed. I have probably played that level over 10 times

Tip: never use the great ball unless it gives you a % above 90.
