@Rikaria: Any advice on taking Diancie at level 50? Did a run and was disastrous!! Used M-Mawile, Dialgia, Jirachi and Nidoqueen (all maxed), with DD and +5 Moves.

@Rikaria: Beat it (see my Miiverse post). Now, on level 75. Changed M-Mawile for M-Gengar.

@Rikaria: Strange. Never mind.

Any advice on level 141-149? The starting HP of 14,000+ in nothing to sneeze at. Also, there's seem to be a lack of Steel and Poison Pokemons that can destroy barriers or rocks.

Figured it out. Brought M-Gengar (max), Coballion (7), Nidoqueen (max) and Steelix (8). Used like 12 hearts going from 141 to 149 and a couple of +5 moves.

Amassed some 25k coins in the last two days and have 5 jewels. Going to need to do some more mining Mewtwo for 8k per day and at least 10 stages against Diancie to finish by Saturday, at the latest (have 29 hearts in reserve). I'm making like 40 Streetpasses every day, which means 3 more jewels till the competition is over.

Good lord. I've managed to keep up with everything so far (minus some mega speeds ups in some of the higher stages of the escalation battles), but I don't think I'll get to all of those new main stages for a long time.

I'm surprised at how much money the safari is giving this time around. I've made 400 coins a few times, and managed to make 1000 coins once. The catch rates seem to be lower than usual, though. I guess that kinda balances out the whole money thing?

I'm up to Deoxys (Lv260) so I have another 90 (!!!) main stages to go O.O (I'm quite peeved that they've introduced even MORE main stages with the latest update, meaning that I'll never catch up at this rate). I still need to S-rank Loudred and Galvantula before having another go at actually capturing and S-ranking Deoxys. And I've squandered far too many coins on Mega Abomasnow considering that I didn't even rank highly enough to qualify for a Speedup. An Attack Power would have been more than enough to qualify for the stone.

I made it to Level 90 with Diancie, but I'd much rather catch-up with the main stages, and the rewards aren't frequent or tempting enough to considering pursuing Level 300 considering how far behind I am with the main stages.

I only have Alakazam left to capture from the Safari (I'm yet to encounter it), after which I'll pursue Beedrill (which I beat once, but didn't capture, and it's not worth wasting coins on it unless a Great Ball yields a tempting catch rate seeing as it was fairly easy to beat on my first try). Then it's back to grinding Meowth and the cycle continues… -.-

I'm also on Deoxys, with about 240 stages S-ranked. Managed to be on the top 1,000 with M-Abomasnow though. Also, I'm stopping at level 200 with DIancie, as it is requiring a DD on levels 195 upwards. It is the hardest Escalation so far, IMHO.

The Safari? What Safari?

There's a new safari with Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam, Oddish, Gloom, Vileplume, (no Bellossom, strangely) and Tauros. Alakazam is the rarest (still haven't encountered him yet).

I got super lucky and got every Safari Pokemon the first day. Now I'm trying to finish catching and S-ranking the last group of main levels before moving on to these new ones (I only have 4 left, but I have no idea how to S-rank Porygon 2. Seems like a -1 might do it, but I'm not sure and that's 9000 coins down the drain if I'm wrong).

I was been a bit sarcastic.

What I wanted to say is that I've abren todo busy with Diancie and grinding Meowth that I haven't been able to play the Safari.

By the way, did you manage to go all the way to level 300 on the Escalation battle with Diancie? I finally stopped at 250.

How far did you manage to beat Diancie? And what are your thoughts on this Escalation, compared to previous ones?

@Rikaria: By the way, you posted that level 300 is like level 50 and 150, not like 200 and 250. Is that so?

@maceng: I stopped at 150. I didn't have the time and motivation to go further, especially with Fire Emblem coming out. Also, I have some kids I'd like to adopt with you!
