Voice chat is needed on games with strategy, that's it. Call of Duty has no real need for it unless you're playing with friends, likewise with Battlefield and every other FPS.
And if I really want voice chat, boot up Skype via your phone and boom! I have everything I need without all the 12 year olds and drunken brodudes.
I like the people who are saying the Vita has no games.

QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

Currently playing : ZombiU on Wii U / Soul Sacrifice on Vita / Mario Golf World Tour on 3DS

Well the Vita is in the same boat as the Wii U. It does have games but it can't quite find that game that will send it soaring. Its a great console, but there's nothing I'm interested in on that console while the 3DS has most bases covered.
Its not a lie, but its not far from the truth either.
The system may have some of the best games on it but people will be people.
Like what?
Well it does have the definitive versions of Muramasa and Persona 4.
And Gravity Rush. And Tearaway has been praised a lot.
Though I question if that matters, since no one seems to use it for anything other than being Steam-lite anymore. :/
I guess. I just find PS Vita's library to be pretty niche. I'm not really into Persona or Tearaway, and Gravity Rush can ultimately be replaced by something else, IMO.
It really depends. I'd say I'm not surprised that 3DS is doing so mych better, commercially, but I don't know exactly who these PS Vita games are targeting and why people like said "niche" games. It's one of those things that would have to be explained to me, otherwise I'll go back to what interests me more and not think of it at all.
My brother watches anime all day if he can, and I'm not interested. That's where I stand with this type of stuff, because I know PS Vita has the anime stuff.

What are you talking about? I don't think you can watch anime on the Vita. Granted I've never checked outside the Video game section of the PS Store...

I'm talking gamewise. I get the "anime" vibe from tons of the content on there. I've looked at PSN and PS Vita games plenty of times. It just screams "niche" to me.
That's why I'm saying from a personal level, I can see why it's not doing so well with a wider audience, but it's not really my place to say that's the real issue. I do think PS Vita should be getting more 3DS ported games, though. If Persona 4 and Q are anything to go off of, they probably don't plan on treating them the same at all.
...I had never heard of any of these games that people are mentioning for the Vita until they just now mentioned them...
that's part of Vita's problem. Outside of Killzone and I think LBP, I can't remember the last time I saw or even heard of a Vita commercial.
though I will say that Persona, from what I've seen, OMG is it anime as heck. I can't imagine people who can't get into anime would ever find any use for it, no matter how good it is. XD

You should really look into some of the games. The Vita is slowly but surely building up a decent catalog of games I am interested in.
Ys: Memories of Celceta
Tearaway
Danganronpa
Dragon's Crown
Soul Sacrifice
FF X and X-2 HD
Gravity Rush 2
Persona 4: Golden
Hotline Miami 1 and 2
Muramasa Rebirth
But like someone has already said, a lot of these games can be bought on the PS3 or other platforms. I really want to get one but I'm on the fence because I really don't know how much support its going to get in the future. Even Japanese publishers are shying away from it. Remote play and PS+ are nice but that's not a deal sealer for me like it is for others.
Well, like I said: if I had the money, I'd totally get a PSVita! ...but as of now, I can barely afford the 3DS games I want, and they're more than enough to keep me occupied - I don't even really play games on PC that much because the 3DS is keeping me more than occupied!
And like @kkslider5552000 said, I have never seen a single Vita advertisement anywhere (not on TV, not on the internet), since the CoD commercials... I think even the Wii U has more commercials at this point...
