Yeah, Mighty Switch Force! & Mutant Mudds will definitely be in the top 3.
That other one will be a real wild card, though. I doubt it'll be NightSky, Sakura Samurai, or Rolling Western, as they gave each of them average reviews.
I have a feeling it's either going to be VVVVVV, Fractured Soul, or Crimson Shroud (although that last one may be too new for inclusion).
Their current list:
10. the Denpa Men
9. Zen Pinball 3D
8. Crashmo
7. Cave Story
6. Liberation Maiden
5. Marvel Pinball 3D
4. Pushmo
Mighty Switch Force, Mutant Mudds (More like bottom half IMO) and Art of Balance: Touch are my predictions.
In my opinion, VVVVVV shouldn't get it on the basis of being not only a port, but a really lazy port with REMOVED FEATURES. Only added feature is shoddy 3D.

Sad thing is I don't care for any of those games gunning for the top 3. My guess will be VVVVVV for #1.
I do have everyone of those games except Crashmo. I'll pick that up at some point though.
Yeah, I love MSF!, & while it would be in my top 10, I probably wouldn't put it higher than the 5th spot.
Again, I enjoy Mudds, but it'd maybe be number 10 for me. It's "retroness" feels the most fake out of all the sprite based platformers on the service. While still fun, it has a safer, more conventional design than VVVVVV or MSF!. It also relies more on cheap tricks than the others (off screen enemy attacks & leaps of faith). Again, it's a fun game, but I just don't understand the unusually high pedestal it's usually placed on.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
@Nibelilt Opposite for me.
I love Mighty Switch Force! and I still have it as my #1 in the 3DS eShop (as well as Wii U eShop) whereas from what I've played of Mutant Mudds, I find it fairly average and boring... Only ever played it once and haven't bothered going back to it yet because it really didn't draw me in at all.
It would be awesome if Mutant Mudds makes it into the Top 2, as I think it is one of the best games on the 3DS. It is actually my most played game that is for the 3DS. Earlier this year, I found myself immersed into its retro charm and did back to back runs on multiple occasions. Its return to basics is appealing and its sense of freedom is addictive. I also just love the characters of Max and his grandma. Got a gamer, who's active, that goes out with a water cannon to save his world from sentient pollution. As for Max's grandma, got a grandma that loves spending time with her grandson, showing us that gaming's for all ages, and will put it all on the line to protect that grandson. I never have enjoyed playing as an elderly character as much before. I should really revisit Mutant Mudds, and get the game's Grandma levels DLC, as I have not played it for a while.

It's a great little game, but it gets pretty old fast for some people, especially since the puzzles get excessively difficult quite fast. i actually have yet to finish Pushmo even after over a year of owning it. I finished pretty much every other game or at least the campaign for eShop titles (still working on Denpa Men and DRW, along with extra levels on Mutant Mudds/VVVVVV).
My top four games have already been revealed, so there's no way I'm going to agree with anything they say for the top two now.
Especially putting Mutant Mudds higher than Mighty Switch Force!
Despite disagreeing with that stance on MSF/Denpa Men alongside a serious lack of DRW or even Order Up, I'll be perfectly satisfied if Art of Balance: Touch makes it to the top.

What puzzle game isn't repetitive though? Puzzle games in general aren't meant to be played for hours on end. I still haven't beat Pushmo either and I've owned it since day 1. That's because I play a puzzle or two every couple of days. I guess that's why I don't get bored of it. Same thing for the other two puzzle games I've downloaded on my 3DS - Art of Balance Touch and Mario's Picross. A few puzzles a week and I'm good.
I personally think they should've combined marvel and Zen pinball. As for Mudds there is still an outside chance that Art of Balance can still crack the top two but I doubt it.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
