I -want- to buy some plays today but it keeps giving me this error code which means it couldn't find an access point to connect to the internet, and it makes no sense at all as the internet is working right now and that I can access the browser on the 3DS! I've been trying for a bit now. Ah well, I guess I'll wait and see if it works later.
This is the first time the badge centre has failed me.

I'm going to be so angry if I can't get it!! Why is the browser working then if there was something truly wrong!!!
The constant need to have an internet connection does ruin this for me as I can only really play it at home which isn't a great for something on a portable console.
Looks like they are having some problems right now with the network. No maintenance though. Since the Internet browser doesn't need to connect to Nintendo Network then it should be fine.
I got all the Swapnote badges. Sure I may not like the discontinuation of Swapnote, but those badges look pretty cute :3 It'd be awesome if food badges came out on Christmas Day That'd be a sweet present to myself
I only got one free play today but I know that just one isn't enough to nab Bowser, but that badge was the only one I wanted out of the machines, so I went and nabbed Jolteon for no reason.
I saw there's a Mario Party theme and paid the tries to get it and matching badges. I already made a nice layout for my menu... Though I'll use it after Christmas.
@NintyMan: He doesn't say new stuff all the time. He hasn't said anything other than a generic greeting for days now to me.
I've been hoping I'd get new food badges for Christmas, and I was disappointed there wasn't any on Christmas, but today....the bunny has come
through for me!!!! FOOD BADGES!!!! I cleared them all out!!! ^___^ The machine with the badges in boxes held up by hooks were the toughest for me.
Not only did I get some nice digital PC games from friends, but I've also purchased digital games for myself and as a bonus, I get new badges today ^____^
@NintyMan: Did you start playing at launch or later? Those speeches are probably set to appear certain days so if you (or other people) happen to start playing later, then they'd be getting the speeches. I presume it'd be the same if you don't log on every day. If you've been checking it every few days, for example, you'd be missing speeches until the next time you log in. That's my guess though, so what I just said may not be true.
@NintyMan: So did I. It's weird you haven't been getting any speeches then. For me I've had nothing but generic greetings for a while now, but I've had speeches from the bunny before, from OoT to Animal Crossing to Metroid.
The speeches happen when he has something new to tell you. For you, the Mario Party badges are not new, but they are for those that missed them the first time.
I guess the stuff he says is random then. The bunny didn't say anything to me today when I played at 9am, but he took Barbiegurl777's order. I thought it'd be the same for everyone if they played every day.
Same thing is happening to me. I've played daily since day one, and the bunny hasn't said anything besides the usual "Hiya, have a great time!" greeting for almost a week. The practice catchers have also been pretty tough recently...
@Freelance: Glad the bunny came through for you, and congrats on getting all the food badges!
