Topic: Nintendo Badge Arcade

Time to join this badge collecting bandwagon.
Got a free play today and went for the Mario Party machine with Wario, Waluigi and Rosalina. Hit the right spot and most of them went in. Spent a dollar to get Rosalina and some of the animal crossing holiday badges. Pretty good haul today.
Edit* Also got two SMB underwater badges from resetting a machine.

Man, someone call the bunny's boss and tell him/her that there needs to be a practice catcher for the bombs. I stink at em. >_<

How does that resetting trick works?

I change machines but the badges don't really move enough to fall.

Had a free play today, and managed to get, a fireball... better than nothing I suppose.

Oh, and I finally got the quick change thing to work! Unfortunately, I didn't get anything to fall down the hole, but I got the Bullet Bill to fall off of Waluigi, as well as a Boomerang Flower to flip over.

Be careful when you use the quick change... Today I learned the hard way that it won't count unless you have an active play. I got a snowflake from the AC set to fall down but it just stopped at the hole since the machine hadn't been activated. Lot of work for nothing.

I got one free play today, and managed to get Larry. That's all the MK8 badges I want; glad to be done with one series!

Had a nice haul today. I got another green block and blooper with the crane trick. With my free play today, I had a really tough decision to make. I love sharks, you see, and sadly I had to choose between the whale shark and the hammerhead. I wanted the great white the most but it's impossible to get with one play. I decided to go for the whale shark as there was a bigger chance of knocking other badges over.

I was right. Getting the whale shark caused some badges to get knocked off (the fishing rod and something else). To my dismay, the shark slipped and landed on top of the other badges. Nooooooooooooooooooo!! But then an amazing thing happened! The shark started sliding over those badges and it, along with 2 fish and the squid, zoomed right down the hole. Yay!!!

Right now I wouldn't mind trying to get a few snowmen and a few Christmas badges for my home menu (got one) ...not gonna bother with most of the AC stuff however will try to get a few of those Christmas badges, sadly yesterday it was the last day the snowmen were out, not sure if it was a one day thing, really not a fan of those one day things...

I got one pixel cat today with my free play. I thought I'd be able to knock over several into the hole, but only one got in. The first bird machine seemed to be a perfect shoo-in for free badges, but try as I might, the chick in front of the hole refused to budge, so I gave up after a while. I'm going to try to get all the cat pixels and at least the finch pixel, 'cause I had zebra finches as pets once.

The other day I hit the limit of badges I could use and I really didn't have that many. I had to put nearly all of them back into the Badge app, and off of my home menu/folders. I had created different folders with different scenes (Zelda scene, Mario, etc), but now I can't do that if I want to download anymore games or place any badges in the future. This limitation is something they should address with an update, as people who download a lot of games are also likely to plunk down money on an app like this.

I only go on this app now to check if they have badges for consoles for my folders. Let me know if DS, 3DS, NES, or GBA badges are released.

Cat badges! Got one.

Got a free play today, but that's not enough! The Splatoon badges are out, and they are hard to get! I won't spend money on it, (yet), to see how many days they will be available. With my free play, I went for the machine with the different colored squids. I managed to get the pink and orange one. The light and dark blue ones got knocked over on their side... those little dots under them are going to make them awful hard to grab with the claw! I hope these badges are out for a while, I need all the free plays I can get!

The pixel cat with ball can be knocked down with the crane trick, but it takes some time to complete. I wished I had known that before I used my free play to get it though.

got ALL the splatoon apps badges with one free play except the streetpass plaza one, so i obviously spent 1$ to get it too

Can someone possibly explain the "crane trick" to me?

@bboy2970: Switch the cranes really fast and hope something gets knocked/shoved into the hole.

I got one free play today so I got one of the kitties, and it knocked another into the hole, but I already got that yesterday. Using a combination of paid and crane trick, I got all the birds in both machines, as well as the remaining kitties. 3 full sets completed.

I wasn't expecting to see a gremlins reference in this, hah.

In other news, my army of cows is growing.

I really liked that Gremlins reference; I just had to reply with the "feeding after midnight" option

I did great on the practice catcher today; got 14 badges! I still only got one free play, though. With that free play, I managed to get the light blue and dark blue squids! Now I only need the green and purple ones from that set, but I think I'll focus on the other Splatoon sets for a while. I really want Sheldon and the Octolings!

No free plays today, even though I got every badge in the practice machine...
