Topic: Nintendo Badge Arcade

Here's something I made.

Only had one free play today, but I managed to nab Kadabra.

Got three free trys today for it was the apps anniversary. Unfortunately the badges I would have like all rotated out and I don't like the current ones that much.
Decided to get some Splatoon ones and some Goombas along with the Piranha plant and pipe.
Was pretty successful.
But it would have been so awesome if we had gotten Pokemon badges too in Europe. I will need a lot of free plays for those, probably. ;-]

I'd like to see some different franchises get love since Europe has only had Super Mario Bros., Splatoon and Animal Crossing badges so far (I think I forgot something...). Used my 3 free tries and got all the badges from the claw machine with Callie and Marie. Used the last 2 tries which I earned from practice to catch some SMB badges.

@Lastaofpizza: Welp, at least I know I'm not missing much without that theme...

Well, there were the "normal" Mario-badges. The artworkey ones, not the 8-bit ones.
Otherwise it has been Mario, Mario, Animal Crossing, the other Animal Crossing and Splatoon so far.

I would love: Pokemon, Monster Hunter, Fire Emblem, Captain Toad (mainly for Shy Guys, though the Boo Hoos we had were nice too), Zelda of course, especially Triforce Heroes, ...
I am sure eventually we get all of these. Especially since America got Rhythm Heaven badges (which I doubt is that popular of an IP, but I might be mistaken).

I wonder when we get any themes.

So far in America, the badge sets we've had are:

Was looking forward to seeing what was going to replace the Animal Crossing badges in the UK today, but no, more Animal Crossing badges...

Mother 3 is very likely given that the first two games have already been released worldwide, but I strongly doubt that Nintendo will retroactively localise old Fire Emblem games given the amount of work that will be involved, and the added fact that the oldest Fire Emblem games will only appeal to the most obsessive of fans. As much as I've enjoyed Radiant Dawn and Awakening, I know I won't enjoy playing the old games and I'm certainly not alone.

Remakes are not out of the question, but with essentially FOUR new Fire Emblem games scheduled for release next year (the three Fates games: Conquest, Birthright and Revelation as well as the yet to be titled Shin Megami Tensei crossover), I think it will be a while before we see another Fire Emblem game, be it remake or otherwise. One consolation is that the Roy amiibo should be fully compatible with Fire Emblem Fates.

I really hope eventually they add 3rd party stickers... I could really use some Mega Man stickers for my folder, and Shovel Knight and Sonic stickers would also be fantastic.

managed to get the splatoon set in my free play =] I really dont spend too much time doing this, but you cant say no to a free play once in a while XD

No question from the rabbit today, but I managed to clear the entirety of today's practice catcher (and even got a couple more practice badges, since I still had a turn left, so it refilled).

Only got one real try however, but luckily I managed to snag Jolteon.

I just checked the arcade, and the one machine with Groudon has all of the Pokemon in boxes that look ungrabbable. I didn't get any free plays today, so does anyone know how that works?

Today was the first day I didn't get a single free play.

But I got four free plays yesterday, so I guess I'll live.

I will live to collect more Pikmins that I will be stoked about, but probably not use ever, for such is the cocaine of this game.

I tried to play it but that money-obsessed rabbit really got on my tits.
I've never seen a videogame begging for money so blatantly.

I can only get 10 badges on my home screen. Is that the max or am I doing something wrong !! It seems like there shouldn't be a limit??

@Chuckzar: I have more than ten on my home screen. Does it give you a message or anything saying you can't place anymore? Because I don't think there's a limit, and if there is, definitely not a max of ten...

@Chuckzar: I definitely have more than 10 badges on my home menu, but maybe that's because I haven't used any of my mega badges yet.
Are you using mega badges (the badges that take up more than one spot on the home menu)? You might also want to try increasing the size of your home menu.

It said something like you can't place anymore of the badge type but I have a mix of badges on folders, badges and badges that run programs. Any badge after 10 gets that message no matter the type. Argh. That's for the Blue_Blur. Any other ideas??

@VeeFlamesNL Just regular badges. Each piece of the mega badge counted toward the 10 limit. How do you increase the size of the home menu??
