Topic: Nintendo Badge Arcade

I tried going for the Alakazam with my second try, but the claw bumped against Kadabra on the way down, messing up the grip.

So..........should I create a thread for showing off your badge collection or just post them here?
I'm just curious.

Rhythm Heaven badges...I wish this means we're getting the third game in the west

@LztheQuack: I think it's very likely. Given the lack of fresh 3DS and Wii U announcements for 2016, I think Nintendo will spread out their size 0 release schedule with some unannounced titles, as well as localisations of previously Japan-exclusive titles.

it takes over 1:30 minutes to boot up the game and then you still have to talk to that stupid bunny.

@sillygostly: Hopefully if this is the case, it includes GBA games like Mother 3 (Lucas) and Fire Emblem The Binding Blade (Roy).

@6ch6ris6: Stupid? To me, he is the best part of the game. The loading time could be a bit faster though.

wait, free plays can stack? like if i get 2 today can i save them for tomorrow?

Today was awful again. I only got one try out of the test-crane. Got 8 or 9 fake badges and of course none of them was a hidden real badge. So I had one try. I wasn't even asked a question by the bunny today (how come? thought this was daily too?) and of course I screwed up my free try like the last two times. I am too greedy.
I don't even know if this annoys me into boycotting paying for tries or into paying for tries after all. So far the badges looked nice, but the franchises weren't quite mine (except Splatoon).
I don't get why the badges on offer vary between America and EU or is it just because of the time difference?
With "daily question" you do mean the random things the rabbit asks when first seeing him every day? Or is there something else? Did it happen to you too that he doesn't ask anything from time to time?

@thejokerow: I'm 99% sure it doesn't save your free plays if you don't use them. It will reset the next day with zero free plays. I don't see why they don't allow them to stack, it just makes the game more frustrating, especially when there's no badge you want that day. (Which is rare, but happens sometimes.)

@thejokerow: Do you mean you got to keep the free plays or no?

Well I couldn't pass up spending a dollar on the new Pokémon set with Deoxys, Rayquaza, and Solrock being some of my favorites... Thankfully I was able to complete the whole set! Somehow I was able to catch Rayquaza and Speed Deoxys at the same time — I rarely ever catch two at a time without them both falling.

@thejokerow: Oh, sorry about the confusion.

The only badges I've really been interested in is the Splatoon and the Luigi ones. Other than that, I'm getting random badges with my free plays. I like Pokemon and Pikmin, but if I don't get any of those badges, I'm okay with it. I can't wait for the Splatoon badges that open up the Mii Plaza, etc, to release! I hope there will someday be third party badges, too. The badges don't really match my Sonic or Shantae themes! XD

@Blue_Blur: It's modeled after real arcades. If you buy plays or get free plays, you have to use it right there and then. If you walked up to an arcade machine for example, put in a quarter and then leave the arcade, you just lost your quarter and your chance to play.

Well I am happy. I wanted to get Raichu but saw I had to use 2 free plays to get it (the first being to get PIkachu first, who is in the way), but today's practice catcher used that same machine, and I saw that the claw actually knocks Pikachu away when you go there, giving easy access to Raichu, so I used that knowledge to do the same with the real catcher with my free play and got Raichu easily

Now I need to get Charizard, but his shape looks a lot harder to get. Argh.

With my free play today I managed to get Barboach. I'm satisfied! Barboach is one of my favorite Pokemon!

I'm not interested in Pushmo, Pikmin, or that many Pokemon. For Rhythm Heaven, it depends on which character it is; the seals are adorable! XD I hope a new set comes in soon that I like more!
