I'm farming my first low rank Tetsu armor set atm so I can start hunting online with @Detective_TeeJay again (old hunting pals from MH4U, and looking forward to you joining us soon too @Iggly).
Once we get a few ranks into the online portion I'm sure we'll be swinging by to hunt with some of you guys.

@JaxonH Really hope I can get the game soon since at the moment my mom keeps telling me to store my money into the bank so it'll probably be a while before I can use the money for stuff I want like Generations. Hope you're enjoying the game though, the demo was already very fun!
I have done a total 180 on the aerial style. In the demo I thought the evade was weird and cumbersome. Now I totally love it with the great sword, hunting horn, and dual blades among others.
I still think the double jump when you aerial evade into a monster will need a new animation when Monster Hunter makes a new ambitious game, but it's super fun as-is. The same goes for mounting. Maybe something like the double jump animation has the hunter use one hand to push off of the monster (even if the models don't exactly touch) and to mount a monster you'll have to leap at it with your weapon sheathed. I don't know. Could be cool.
@Megumi_Sagano you can get scalps fairly regularly from meownster hunter runs I think. No need to torture yourself with trying to break the stupid skull on Shogun's back.
Aerial makes the break a little easier tho, I used SA and dual blades for that myself but it's still annoying.
I've no issues with the skull, but it still doesn't give it to me. lol
I have't gotten a scalp from Meownsters at all, though...

@Megumi_Sagano from what I've seen, Meownster Hunters seem to only be able to get materials (other than it's respective scraps) that you could normally obtain by carving.
