Random thought: we all know that, subspecies notwithstanding, Zinogre is still the sole member of the Fanged Wyvern class. Given the setting of Zinogre's origin, what if this was a subtle nod to the red panda, a real life animal that is also the sole member of it's family Ailuridae? They have little in common outside of this and maybe their habitat, but it's still interesting.
@meleebrawler And like the Remobra, it has been reclassified from a racoon (according to the quick google search I did anyways), but it just seems like a coincidence to me. I hope to see more fanged wyverns in a future game, something that reminds me of that three headed dog Hades owns.
Guys, I just hunted the Narkarkos about three times in a row, helping people get over HR 7. When it's FINALLY my turn, they decide to just leave the room. No "thank you" or nothing; just a simple "bye".
Needless to say, I'm irked (probably more than I should be). Can anyone help me, please? I'm by my lonesome here.

Cerberus? Well, if something three-headed actually showed up in Monster Hunter, it'd probably just wind being an Elder Dragon.
I think Frontier actually has some wolf-like Fanged Beasts, if that's you're thinking of. The only thing that probably prevents Zinogre from being classified as such is the fact that it lays eggs as opposed to giving birth... that, or it's just that it has scales like a reptile.
