wtf codename steam is way more like fire emblem than advance wars. i really dislike fire emblem. but i love advance wars. codename steam looks better than fire emblem IMO, but i don't like steam"punk" and victorian settings
Oh I'm definitely interested in Codename Steam, I have plans to get it if I'm not too engulfed in whatever other games are out before then.
@6ch6ris6 They are doing another Fire Emblem because it's easy. They have the engine already made, they just needed a new story.. Plus they fixed the character models feet. They don't look like hooves anymore, lol.

This guy predicted the Zelda U announce date and the Majora's Mask 3d announce date. He is very good at analysis and has done metroid news and analysis. If you want to here some great fact driven predictions, watch his channel
Do you like videogames? If so, you must know
It's dangerous to go Alone.
Is it just me, or would having Samus' amiibo be compatible with Codename Steam make way more sense than the Fire Emblem characters? It bugs me the more I think about it.

Steampunk Samus would be neat, but from a developer point of view you'd want to integrate characters from your own franchises, well, at least franchises you've worked on before.
I was probably just a mistake, whoever wrote it just thought of some random Nintendo games.
It is odd though that it would mean VC games, since Animal Crossing and Pokemon (mostly) don't have any VC titles, so why list those next to it? But it probably means nothing!

Same developer as Fire Emblem. It makes sense to me
In terms of what the Codename Steam mainly is: a third-person shooter, it fits more with Samus than the sword-wielding FE characters.
While that's true CS is being done by same developer as FE, don't forget that Samus is appearing in Monster Hunter 4. Last time I checked Capcom hasn't helped make a Metroid game.
But hey, I'm just giving my two cents on the chosen Amiibo compatibility for CS.
doesn't the 3DS have 2 Metroid games? Metroid (NES) and Metroid 2: return of Samus (GameBoy)
I wouldn't read to much into it
They're hardly gonna consider that advert-worthy though are they. Why wouldn't they have put something like Fire Emblem instead?
I'm guessing it's either an accidental reveal or.....just an accident.
