Sorry about reviving this after so long, but there's something I have to ask.

I've recently gotten back into it, and during a recent playthrough of the 50cc Star Cup (offline), I noticed one of the racers was a random Mii I'd never seen before, instead of a Mario character. Anyone know what's up with that?

ive been lovin the competition online.. been workin my way up the ranks no problem..! Such a fun game. a bit disappointed im so late to the party but still love that i can grab online races with no wait time..

I noticed that the last week or two i have not gotten any ghosts on my mario kart channel..

before it was loading courses with ghosts and times to beat but not anymore..

Any one know why that would be so?

The idea is to have some pure skill races, without those damn lucky shots (this is for you, blue shells -.-). The track will have bananas everywhere, which will test our skills to the max.
Don't get me wrong, I love playing with all the items but it would be nice to do something different.
I was very active on a bananas only community when the game was launched but that room is a ghost town now.
I will be online (almost) every day at 10pm, London time (GMT+1), for the next 7 days, looking for players who accepted my challenge.

GG dude. I gave it a good shot but the rust was a bit too great. I don't think the stat spread on this old kart of mine is even possible in MK8, so that didn't help...

@Zyrac Try another kart tomorrow I will use the same as today, with low speed and weight, high acceleration and high handling.

If I unlock the gold steering wheel in Mario Kart 7, will I be stuck with the gold steering wheel for every race? (and lose the regular steering wheel?) I don't want to lose the regular steering wheel. I think the regular steering wheel looks cooler.
