The Switch is totally worth it, has been around for almost 3 years and has a huge library. There are rumours of a MK9 coming in the end of 2020, a sequel to Breath of the Wild is confirmed, Animal Crossing in just 40 days...

I still play MK7, every few months 😁

MK7 is still pretty active. I played it last week and rooms were almost full. Amazing for a game that came out in 2011

@JuveLeo Maybe Mario Kart 7 is one of those games that people will still play for another 30 years.

Mario Kart 7 has a bunch of great stages. Hope some of them will get redone for the inevitable MK9

If they never shut down their servers, probably! Lol. I would still play it. I still Mario Kart 64 a few times a year lol

@JuveLeo Even if the servers shut down, fans will still find ways to play multiplayer anyway.
You have entire fan communities for MK Wii alone for example via dolphin, parsec or dedicated servers.
People even found ways to play together on the Ds, fossil fighters champions is an example, I'm in a discord community that regularly plays online battles with each other.

A game is nothing without its community.

I've heard about that. Pretty cool how people figure out ways to still play these older gems online.

I am still active in MK7. I have also been playing more MK8D because I am hyped for the new tracks

Out of all the characters in the entire Mario universe, they chose to add the fat bee lady that moans when you crawl all over her for star pieces in Super Mario Galaxy.

I’m going to enjoy a couple MK7 sessions this weekend!
