you think 7.0 - 9.0 is just a good amount of difficulty to be aiming for?? I find 9.0 just too difficult. Yeah I love the other Kid Icarus games for their difficulty, but I never thought that that would spike. I know some people like a good challenge, but i'm torn between that and just wanting to complete the game. Anyone please help? I'd just like the right amount of challenge, yet I know from you guys that you can get particular items from beating levels at specific difficulties, is there much point in doing that or should I just leave the difficulty stuff until I get better weapons?

Anyone know what the maximum value for a weapon is? I'm pretty sure I've seen a few 500+ value weapons online. I almost never play below 5.0 difficulty now (except for a few boring achievements), occasionally rising to 7.0, so I've gotten plenty of high value weapons. Highest I've seen myself is almost 400. Some people claim to have seen 900+ value weapons that cause the team health bar in LvD to be almost fully depleted after one death! Talk about a liability to your team. For Light versus Dark, I try not to exceed 300 in weapon value. Skills like "Hearts - 1/2/3" help, because they don't affect combat performance but reduce value.
Also, just defeated intensity 9 Twinbellows in less than ten seconds (literally!) using Trade-Off, Energy Charge and Quick Charge with my Predator Cannon. xD
I got Nintendo Power with 3 new AR cards today: Poseidon, Thanatos, and Medusa (Battle). I'm still waiting on my free Club Nintendo cards, though.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

I beat the game already, but I plan on beating the game on a higher difficulty. I was running on mostly 4 and 5 so difficulty wise I was playing on medium. There's no way to beat this game on 9 without proper weapons, IMO. I've been stocking up on and fusing high power weapons I got from playing online so right now I have a 4 star burst blade value 295 w/ petrification. I'm going to see if I can get a weapon over 300 before I attempt a run at 9 difficulty.

Well ok, i'm gonna try at least 7.0 on all my chapters then rechallenge if I feel up to it. So how many of you have beaten both the first and second games? did you get them before purchasing Uprising and if so what do you guys think of them? I loved them a lot, plus Uprising seems the best start for continuing the franchise, just please guys, no more spoilers, I don't want to hear about a sequel just yet, but yeah I would love one too.

Finally found the perfect weapons for me: Palms. Surprisingly they were the group I least expected to play with, but I'm good with them! @RetroHippie I am doing this too, then Im playing each level at 9 int. in order up to the end

I never thought I'd love the multiplayer as much as I do. Everything feels very fair, and the variety of everyone choosing different weapons types makes things exciting and fun to mix up. I am going to be playing this for a looong time.
And I love the cannons. I want to love blades more, but I can dominate with my twinbellows cannon.
I"m on Chapter 22, and without spoiling anything, I can honestly say this game take a much darker undertone, with all this talk about the dead, how nature consumes the weak and stuff.
When I first saw Kid Icarus: Uprising I knew I had to have it and when I heard of a special preorder offer to get the original on the 3DS I signed up for that option. Keep in mind that it has been a LONG time since I played the original. Here's what happened when I got my games:
Kid Icarus: Uprising- LOVE IT Original Kid Icarus: hate it so much....
Does anyone else feel this way?

@SoZettaFox Pit looks like Sora? Not really, Sora only has one weapon, no wings, big feet, and Pit can fly (kinda). And even if they were similar in appearance, why is that a con? I like Sora (as you can tell) so I don't mind...
