@tlol Can you give us a general time for the tourney that is open to change. Also can you tell me the exact amount of damage that Laser does in a DSC? I have only had 5.5, not 6 w/ DSC +4.

Rules:
Best 3 out of 5 games, single elimination.
Redo rounds that end with a score of 0-0.
Random Stage.
Items on, normal rate of appearance.
Banlist: (banlist subject to change, if you have any problems, say it)
Weapons: Brawlers, Raptors, Atlas Club, Eyetracks, Gemini, Taurus, Predator Cannon, Angel Bow, Capricorn Club
Powers: Slipshot, Bumblebee, Playing Dead, Trade-off
Aries Armor can be used if your opponent is fine by it, but not along with Libra Sponge.
Tourney bracket will be done randomly with challonge.

Damage calculator says it does exactly 222.4, just over OHKO point of 222. That way a 5.5R DCS+4 Laser is actually better than a 6R one, since it saves on value and still OHKOes people without defense mods.

@tlol I'm sorry, but that number you put is wrong. My 5.5 DSC+4 staff deals 224.6 so something is wrong with your data.

Yeah, that damage calculator is not perfectly accurate yet. And I was actually wrong, I did it again and it was actually 224.4, silly me It's still different from reality, but close enough.

No Aries? And allowing OHKO's? I'll pass.

As I said, the banlist is a work in progress, so if you want Aries to stay, tell us your arguments. And are you saying OHKO should be banned? What's wrong with it?

@Everyone I want your guys opinion, which weapon should I make next

• Finish my better Laser Staff
• Fix my Knuckle Staff so it can deal 320+ in a shot
• Build a flintlock staff
• Build an Ancient Staff
• Build a Scorpio Staff with a poison mod
  Or make a new weapon I've been eyeing.

Edit: How about this, on the topic of moving this to online gaming, yes, but lets work a few more things out 1st. As for Aries, how about this, the person wanting to use it asks there opponet if they would allow it, admitting that they know exactly how it works, and what it does. So if both say yes I/my opponent wants to use aries armor, then why not? Its only themselves they will be hurting.

The only reason I use Aries is to prevent OHKOs, as it's annoying to respawn only to be killed again within seconds.
And unless you're using a really weak weapon, or have ridiculous defense modifiers, it really won't impact gameplay that much. :3
Libra should stay out though.

Lol, without OHKOs it'd help me a little, I won't be running around getting OHKO'd, and none of my weapons OHKO (without energy charge) so it wouldn't hinder me (as much). So please Mr. Mask, keep it going.

Edit:but @happy_mask, i will be running around with weak weapons. (well kinda, at least in comparison to OHKO staves)
And as for the online gaming thing, I think it might be a good idea to move it there, but it really doesn't matter to me where it is.
@knuckles, it's really up to you, though, I probably should've asked the thread about that Magnus club from before

Oh, my bad, I misunderstood you. My Laser Staff deals around 232.8 in a DCS, which isn't enough to take OD+1 or Health +1 people. As for your weapon, Scorpio staff doesn't need poison, since a max range one will OHKO most of the time anyways. Knuckle Staff is a great weapon, I think tank sets are great with it since it needs to get somewhat close to the opponent anyways. Flintlock is also great too, although a little hard to hit with. But, out of those, the one that I like the most is the Ancient Staff, since you can trap your opponent in fun ways because of the way the DCS works. But, of course, it all depends on your playstyle.

@tlol Thanks for your comments, I knew you would say yes to the Ancient Staff. Also read my edit from the previous page.

The thing with Aries Armor is that it's not such a big deal when used with your intentions, but someone building a Cont Fire/ Melee Combo set with high Defense and Aries Armor would just be close to invincible for a big period of time, while being able to do reliable damage to the opponent. But, again, nobody here uses a tank set, so that argument doesn't matter so much. So I'd agree overall with @Knuckles idea. Any more opinions? And I have no problem with making Libra stay, as long as it can't be used along with Aries. Editing the banlist.

And I also agree with Knuckles that we can move the topic to get more people once we finish the details.

@Knuckles I'd say go with Scorpio, then Ancient or Flintlock. Anicent Staffs can be fun, but keep in mind it's basically a palm / staff combo.
