@geneon Did I mention that I know MUCH about the mechanics of weapon fusion? If you need any tips, talk to me! Got about 2k fuses . If you're having trouble with Intensity 9.0, try using a laser staff with 6 range, 0 melee, +4 recovery effect, and +8 overall defense, best weapon ever, doesn't lose or gain power due to distance from the target OR which way you dash!

@geneon101 Thanks ! And yes, the staff above can get you past ANY level at 9.0, with some skill, that is :3. So far I've got an End-All Arm with 2 and a half stars in range, +4 Recovery effect, and +6 overall defense ! Despite my hatred of arms, it's actually pretty dang powerful .

@sonicman1011 Thanks for posting, what luck you get a Sonic Cannon on your posting Day!

@geneon101 He's my right-hand man here, and the forum ninja. Whenever I need something done, [mostly posting for me] i'll ask him first. Also DON'T EVER mess with this Ninja! He is great at close corner melee, and I can barely survive an attack from him
[I also just want to clarify ??? gems, as if the person posting the gem for the Day, gets it the weapons post is now fair game for anyone to post, and if they want they can due the next Days gem!]

@Sherman is the best techie we have around here, and an expert swordsman! He knows his way to getting THOUSANDS of Streetpass and Spotpass gems, and shared that info with us! [Thanks again @Sherman!]

@RPGShaymin is the forum critic and reviewer over the weapon gems, and could be the best KI:U online fighter ever! If hes using a Staff, you better hope to Lady Palutena that you aren't in his sights.

And our latest addition is @sonicman1011 and he is the fusions expert, so if you are dying a few too many times, let him give you some advice!

@Knuckles Sweet, lemme break out the X-ray Specs 83. And actually, to kill RPG, try some Pandora claws, with 0 Range, 6 melee, and some melee combo, speed, and stamina, that should do the trick (I keep getting pwned by RPG too, lol!) BTW, cannons are crap ^.^.

@sonicman1011 I mostly have to agree with the cannons and I want to learn how to properly use one. I tried a Sonic Cannon before online and finished last apposed to my usual 2nd or 3rd. [ If Im really luckly I get 1st!]

Staffs ARE the best for solo, for sheer power alone, but can't run any speed run achievements other than the flight one on a nonspecific chapter.

They are also best at not giving the opponent the chance to retaliate against you, and for cheap through-wall shots.

The weapons I had trouble online against are Orbitars(specifically Eyetrack) , for interrupting my energy charge, and Taurus arm, for being a nasty weapon with non-knock-back powers(Super armor, F***ING AERIES ARMOR, etc.).

Still need more practice. I've played like 6 hours in missions. The rest is just watching gems and weapons and making fusions and experimenting and getting to know the weapons. Hope to gain som exp and be as good as you guys =)

@RPGShaymin I usually have Super Armor in my power grid for when I need to be say close corner fighting with a bow

@Knuckles Nice fight! I've never seen someone that good with a Arm! And a good Knuckle staff needs 6 melee AND 6 Range, also needs some melee combo and dash charge shot. You're going to want to be aggressive with it, unlike normal staffs, but keep a bit of distance for some semi-sniping. For Hedgehog claws just get some melee and no range, also need melee combo, speed, and stamina, another aggressive weapon. As far as cannons go, try Range, no melee, and Dash Charge Shot.
@RPGShaymin We had some pretty good fights, you pwned me in the end, need to finish my laser staff to get started on my flintlock, congrats on beating the game! I'm 92% done, I've had the game for 2 weeks.

@§onicman1011 How do you like your name? Also thanks for calling me a Arms Master(!) and for the advice. I really want a Knuckle Staff...

@Knuckles Awesome name, gonna put it on here once I can . Knuckle Staves can be really fun to use. It's like a mix of claws and staves, my two favorite weapons .

@sonicman1011 What was your old username? Mine was K-C like you can see in my signature. Also about the x-ray glasses, I thought palutena wore them, but I wasn't sure, as 16 characters isn't the most effective form of instant messaging

I've been Sonicman my whole life, so I never had an old username. Swapnote is the way to go for messaging (it's not instant though .) There's a conversation in the game where spoilers Viridi calls Palutena a geek, and Palutena wips out her glasses saying "With my X-ray specs, I can see through your ignorance." 83. BTW, I REALLY need hearts :l! Anyone have any suggestions? I've been going through That First Town at 9.0 with my beam claws and a lvl. 4 Heart Booster, get about 15-20k a run.
