Topic: How is Gunman Clive 2?

It's my opinion that the extremely dark backgrounds in Gunman Clive 2 are intentional and meant to be a 'throw-back' to just how dark and hard-to-see games were on the original Gameboy Advance. (Remember, that particular handheld had no backlight and with games like Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, it was extremely hard to see what was happening on screen).

Lololol. You're not supposed to intentionally throw-back to crap things. "My game only sucks because it's a throw-back to games that sucked back in the day." Genius.

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

Devs do it all the time these days. Don't download the game then. Although this title is really quite simple to plow through....

I've already downloaded and finished the game. I was just reacting to a silly argument. Devs don't deliberately include bad ideas from past games, that's ridiculous. Please find 1 example of where a developer admits to deliberately including a flawed piece of gameplay design just for the sake of nostalgia.

Bit.Trip.Runner and Retro City Rampage come to mind but nothing in those games is really flawed, so I'm not really sure. Thus I will take back my 2nd statement about devs.

With GC2, I still think he made it dark intentionally as a throwback/homage ....I said originally that it was just my opinion though.
