Topic: Free EU 3DS Game Offer

Hey folks purchased the 3DS XL yesterday throughly enjoying it.

Has anyone had their email from Nintendo yet with the code for the free game?

Think I added it all correctly to my Club Nintendo thingy yesterday when I registered the device.

I just filled out the survey to register the device, should I have clicked a banner or something to choose from the 5 free games?

Yes, go to my account, and then a banner should appear telling you about the promotion, you then choose the game you want and they should email you the code, check your spam filters if you haven't received the code even though you requested one

The survey was filled out yesterday morning, just logged into my account on my pc & macbook & no banner to click on at all.

Just contacted Nintendo support so fingers crossed, dont want to miss out on that free game.

One other question if i get a bigger sd card (using the 4 gig one that came with the device) can I just copy all my stuff over from the existing card to the new one?

@roman59 - Provided you have a computer or other device than can read/write to SD Cards, you can use a bigger card with you XL. Just copy the SD Card info to your computer (be sure to keep it all together), then copy the data to the new card, insert the new card into your XL, and you're good to go.

Managed to find the banner on club nintendo, go to my account and on the photo of a woman sitting with a laptop, on the right hand side is an arrow, click on it and the special game offer banner slides across. Talk about well hidden but its sorted now

if your all wondering how to get the code they would have sent you one when you selected the game you wanted the only problem is you will have to go through your emails to find it thats what i did professor layton is great so glad i upgraded from the regular 3DS to the XL

iv been watching my email like a hawk there's been nothing contacted them 3 days ago but no reply.

Gosh! I nearly forgot about this. I was waiting for a follow up email, but really, all I needed to do was wait until the 1st.

Downloading Layton now.

Well, the laptop went bonkers yesterday and I lost all of my saved emails, including the one I needed to download Layton. Gonna be a fun call to Customer Service tomorrow morning!

Finally got Mario 3D Land and I gotta say, besides never liking the 3D Mario games, this is friggin' awesome. Love it. Fun I grew up with violent games and now that I am 30 Im playing Mario in all different versions! Lol awesome.
