I wasn't planning on posting another painting today, but I am really happy with how this one ended up. It is a semi-remake of one of my old avatars for this site, but the 3D makes it so much more!

I certainly like the idea but the execution needs work.
I think it needs to be an all or nothing thing, making the water orbs completely opaque or in the background.
Actually I think a blue background with white circles may have been the more effective choice, giving the better impression of being underwater.
@kaiser Yes, at 15 likes you are randomly put into the rotating panel for like 10-15 mins. This is a decent way to get likes; my blue shell pic was at 153 when it left weeks best, and today reached 175 as an exapmle. It really adds up over time! :3 Although the timing is random, I've only seen 2 of mine in there myself, although friends see others.
I get a real kick out of seeing my stuff on the main page! They are more likely to show up on it if they're in the week's best or the most popular overall.
Oh man, I think I'm getting addicted. I just keep pumping out these drawings. Got to take a break soon. Colors! has brought back my passion for art!
