What games do you think will/should use the augmented reality cards?
I think Pokemon should:P Like you walk around on the screen, but in battle mode you're asked if you want to do "Regular Battle"(on screen), or "Augmented Battle"(on table).
If you choose augmented battle, you will be asked to place 2 cards 2-8 in. in on a flat surface in front of you.
Depending on the color of the surface, the battle will take place near water(blue), forest(green), rock/sand(brown), lava(red), etc.
A rock, papers, scissors eshop game. The game will be programmed to use any AR card available for the 3Ds.
Pretty simple. You just place the AR card on the table, then on the touch screen you choose rock, paper, or scissors.
If you pick the "?" AR card, a hand pops up out of the table. For the Mario, Kirby, Link, Metriod, etc. cards, the character would pop up out of the table, and act like they were playing the game!
I think a Yugioh(Did I spell that right?) game should work like Pokemon.
The game wouldcome packaged with 20 Yugioh cards that look like when they are faced down.
On the touch screen, you would select the type of card, what position, etc. then it would ask you to place your card.
The card would glow, (when it flips over), then the cardwould look like what the card would look like.
Then the monster would jump out of the card to fight!
pokemon. all the way. i wanna battle the E4 in my living room
It would be awesome if the 3Ds put a life-sized cartoon in your living room, and you battled with it And, it worked be voice command (Like saying, "Pikachu, I choose you!", and throwing your arm outward) Or you could select a command off the touchscreen
Then telling the Pokemon to do Quick Attack or Thunderbolt
That would be awesome if ghost appeared in your room, and you had to suck them up! The 3Ds could be used as a flashlight and the sucker-upper-I-can't-remember-the-name-thing lol
Punch-Out!! I wanna knock the pineapples out of King Hippo's a**.
It would be awesome if you could set the 3Ds on the floor, tilt it upward a little, it's facing in front of you, and you could put on these glasses that transmit the game to your eyes!
That way, the game can augment a fighter in front of you, and you could fight it
Mario Party. The board game takes place on your table. it could be an optional thing in the game...

A figure there is no reason for Nintento to sell the cards honestly. You can print the ones that curently exist off or even draw them on a piece of paper and they work. There is nothing really special about them so I don't see a market in it.
I mean, would you buy firewood if you could just go chop a tree down yourself?
Proud owner of a 3DS for the sole purpose to buy Ocarina of Time 3D to recover nostalgia of the best game ever.

yes. firewood for the most part needs to be dry. chopping down a tree will only do good in the long run, it takes a few months for the wood to dry. if you need firewood and haven't cut any a few months ago you're gonna wanna buy some that is already dry.
Lots of censorship here...

You can get lots of games for free by pirating and emulators but nintendo still sells a lot of games and systems.
Pokemon seems like an obvious choice. I think Super Mario would be fun, too. Little bit-sized platforming challenges that you can play on your desk or the palm of your hand--how awesome would that be?
