Disaster struck! i've had to bring my 3DS XL to Nintendo for repairs and now i can't play my Animal Crossing! Woe is me...

Okay guys, my villager Butch is moving today OR tomorrow I'm not quite sure I'll edit when I know xD.

I'm FINALLY getting a hamster villager!!!!!! But I've noticed my female population completely dominates over my male population in my town which is bothering me. It's not helping this hamster is female either (but I wanted a hamster so....). All I hope is Muffy finally decides to move out.....

How do I make public projects? LIke Police Stations and such? I just got my 3DS 2 days ago and it's my third day in my town.. please help T^T

Very randomly your neighbors will suggest a project to you once they do that "Oh! I need to talk to you" thing.
But only one project a day, and what they suggest is random too.
It's sorta a pain to get projects >_<.

Found that a quick easy way to get bells is to go to the island at night and collect as many beetles as you can. Bring'em back to your town and sell them at Retails...I've been completing my Public Works Projects within 2 - 3 days of doing this. I now have the Museum Expansion, Dream Suite, Camping Site and working on my next Project. I easily get nearly 200,000 in one night of just collecting beetles.

Just an FYI for those struggling to get bells and finish off projects or purchase items from the stores on Main St...

RE: Grass Wear
When the grass starts to wear out, does it eventually come back? What do i need to do to get my grass to come back? I've heard of time traveling but i'm not going to do that. Is there another way?

I've also heard of creating paths, i'll eventually get there to do those but in the meantime, what to do?

Anyone know if there's a mushroom chair or stool? It'd go perfectly in my Mario/Zelda room.

@Gustoff - I read online that grass will grow back around places with lots of trees. Also, you can plant flowers and water them. Grass should eventually grow back. I read that grass wear isn't as bad and eminent as was in City Folk.

_{I don't have any issues with grass wear (yet). I walk everywhere in my town.}
