Phew! Just had a big scare... i had my 3DS in stand-by mode, taking a break from hunting bugs on the island. When i returned it showed an error message: "Your SD card has been removed. Press Home to return to menu". And when i did, all my downloads, including AC:NL were gone! Thank God everything was fixed by re-inserting said SD card but for a moment or two i thought i really had lost everything.

PS: kudos to @ShanaRawr for the awesome tattoo

Have a couple more questions. Can the non mayor player go to the island? When you are doing the island tours, can you rent tools from the lloid to get other stuff? Or is it that you can only pick fruit and flowers?
