Topic: Animal Crossing: New Leaf Thread

The River is in front of my house. To my left is a handful of trees, then my campsite, then the river again since it kind of takes a turn there (hard to explain for me ). Now on the right hand side of me, is not much besides more trees. I'm pretty close to the train station too.

I got an idea to keep villagers from building In front of a house. I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but you could try building a public works project in front of your house. I'm thinking about building a fountain or a well.

I was basically the king in my village XD all the animals lived across the river and I had my own personal Island in the north.

Would planting seeds or saplings around your house stop a house being built there?
I suppose not since otherwise you could plant trees everywhere and never get new villagers...

in the top left hand corner area of my map, the river goes into the ocean through the beach...but it's like, not quite up against the train track's bridge if that makes since.

There is a little square piece of land up there of beach up against the bridge, that I can not reach. I didn't really pay attention to it until I noticed my wife could get to the bottom of the bridge in her town on the beach, and I couldn't. Then, I was fishing next to that spot, and noticed a sea shell over there! I wish I could get over there...maybe when I get the wet suit. Kind of driving me nuts for some reason.

Why does it matter if someone moves in front of you?

It's just not nice having a house directly in front of yours blocking the view.

Not at all.
But I was planning to decorate the outside of my house, and I can't now because this ugly house is SMACK in front of mine x3.

Sorry, I couldn't help but kind of laugh when I read that. I had a friend come over whom I left alone for like 5 minutes and he raided every tree in my town for fruit (except for like 2 with my native fruit, pears).

Oh yeah, that does suck then. Fortunately I built mine near the edge of a cliff...I don't think there's enough room for a house there.

I noticed that in my town, too. I think it's the Garden Shop.

Anyone been asked to play hide and seek? Midge asked me and gathered some of the villagers to play as well. Won a lucky black cat.

Havent seen it in my game but i thought i read somewhere that we should at some point be able to move houses where we want.

I decided to keep playing.
But I'm gonna try to find someway to get them to move out later on x3.

Maybe we can move houses. You should try going to the front desk at Town Hall and asking about problematic citizens. That might help, but I haven't tried it.

In the options menu, before you start the game you can tear houses down i believe.
