Topic: 3DS LL (XL) thread.

I got enough for both! Though I traded in all my DS and Wii games. As good as the Silver looks, it doesn't really matter to me, the inside is going to be Black anyways (cept White). Getting the Red since my first Gameboy was Red. This system just has so many things going for it.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this in the video, but is it just me or do the shoulder buttons resemble the DS Lite ones?

I think I'll also hold off until Silver, unless of course my 3DS's condition deteriorates further. It looks much nicer than Red, Blue, and White.

Yes, I think so. I'm glad about this, playing Kid Icarus on the 3DS can wreck the L Button.

I loved the DS Lite L + R buttons

What's different about them? Or cool. Never had a lite. More comfortable?

This video shows how good normal DS games look on the screen, as well as SM3DL.

I didn't like the DS Lite's shoulder buttons, my favorite was the DSi.

That decides it... I'm getting blue for sure.

@Miss_Birdo On the DSi and 3DS (and I think DSi XL) the shoulder buttons go much further out than DS Lite and are also slimmer whic makes them more clicky. I wouldn't mind it personally but I don't like how they're so... Frail.

@MarioTheLegend Holy Mudd... DS games look outstanding in both resolution. It's funny they picked Layton for that demo since it was the first DS game I was going to play on it. That resolution is amazing. And it's good there seems to be the Lite's ABXY and D-Pad back. Every time I see this I want it even more! I can't wait for August any more!

3D Land is fairly short, so just wait out to play it if you're planning to get one. I'm sure the graphics will look excellent on it, they already look great on the normal one. I wouldn't hold out for all of them though... What have you not played? If Kid Icarus is on that list you need to open it, right now.

Anybody else notice in that German video the chap changes game's with the 3ds turned on......That can really damage the game card and consol! The first game boy would not let you change unless power was off!

Please let that be true.. I want all the buttons to be like the DS Lite.

And the silver model looks pretty good actually.. I might pick that color up.

Dude.. You can't seriously be telling me that you turn your system off completely every time you want to change a game..?

I go in to the menu and then change games all the time while the system is on. Haven't done any harm at all.

Every time vita and 3ds.......habit from way back, when games were games and came on cartridges!!

on the orginal Gameboy it is impossible to change carts without switching off

That's why I said system (referring to the 3DS only) and not systems.
