I would definitely say HEROES OF RUIN.
The game is great, has a vibrant world, the four classes are well realized, maybe not diverse enough, online multiplayer with voicechat is a blast, COOP is well realized, there are only a few key areas that are "major" flaws - things that keep the game from greatness. For those of you who don't know the game, just imagine Diablo in your pocket, thats about it. Only that this game has no endgame. Where in every other modern action RPG you can replay the storymode on a harder difficulty or go into some never-ending dungeon this game ends once you clear the last quest or hit level 30. There are plenty of awesome weapons and special items in the game that never get any use because the game is rather easy and there is no endless "one more hour grinding for that rare weapon" gameplay. See what this "grinding for more" mechanic did to Diablo 2 or even games that are different like Monster Hunter. I have no idea why they could forget about something like that. I was really vocal about that problem and it eventually let the developer make a comment about "DLC/patches a possibility" - I doubt though that anything like that will happen, SO I hope for a sequel that continues all the good things and irons out the bad. Heroes of Ruin all the way!
I was just about to say the same thing - you beat me to it I really enjoyed Heroes of Ruin in spite of its flaws and I think there is a lot of potential in it if they do a sequel.

Ghost Recon: Shaddow Wars was an excellent launch title. It could use a sequel.
I'm also begging SEGA day-by-day to announce a sequel, or a spinoff to Rhythm Thief.
I would also like there to be a ghost recon shadow wars sequel on 3ds.
Yes! Great idea! I would love to see a Zelda version for that!
Currently playing: Rhythm Heaven, Minecraft (XBLA), Pokemon B/W 2, Halo 4, The Denpa Men: They Came By Wave, Fallblox, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (GCN)
Will be playing soon: Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Cave Story +, Wii U: NSMBU, Nintendo Land, (And lots more!)
Probably doesn't stand a chance in actually happening, but Nintendo & SE work together quite often, so it would be neat if it ever did happen.
Probably end up being Theatrythm Mario RPG though. You'd go through all the Mario RPG's, like the original (which Square actually worked on), the Paper Mario games, & Mario & Luigi games.
I was thinking they could do more then RPGs with that game, kinda like how in MTO how you could play tennis while playing the original SMB but with music, and the same could be done with other series like shooting in Metroid music (similar to the Rhythm Heaven shooting game) and Zelda could do links sword swips to the beats
Yeah, thats a really great idea, everyone's been focusing on RPG's, but I do want to say Link would probably use the harp.
And yeah, I agree with everyone who said Theatrythm. It's so simple: Theatrythm: Kingdom Hearts, or whatever square series.
I am Grodus. I will kidnap YOUR princess for the Shadow Queen, too!
i really liked the game and still play it from time to time. they just need to add new tracks, songs and an online multiplayer mode or at least online rankings

I have Ridge Racer 3D too, but I don't think it would be nececairy for there to be a sequel, rather just DLC with new tracks, songs and online multiplayer like you said. But that would be great!

I enjoyed that game as well, but I would rather a new Warioware instead if we're talking about a microgame-playing game.

But nier only has like 12 unique songs. The rest just use the melody motifs from those. It would be a pretty small game.
Maybe if they released the tracks as DLC. But that will never happen
It would only need 12 songs to be the best music game ever.
Make it a $0.99 iPhone release, then.
Or SE could just release a general Theatrythm game for all of its franchises. Yeah, there might be some stuff one may not like, but considering SE has an incredible backlog of music, I wouldn't complain. Just have some (adimittedly amazing) Nier music and the rest be DLC, each for the same price as a single iPhone release would be.
And no one said Kid Icarus because it doesn't need a sequel. That game felt complete in my eyes, and won't need a sequel for a very, very long time.
Best thread ever

What!? No, just no. I'm not waiting another 25 years! Sure it felt complete, but there were still quite a few unanswered questions. Maybe not a 3DS sequel, but I'm going to be really unhappy if Pit doesn't come back for a long time again!

Can't believe no-one has mentioned Kid Icarus: Uprising yet...
I desperately want a sequel to that too, but Sakurai said that it probably won't happen... What a shame!
