Seriously, when is this game coming out? I've already got my $6 of eShop credit waiting to be spent on this game. Nintendo said this game would be released "soon", but it's been almost 2 months! Japan got this game a week after its announcement! What gives? Why do we Americans and Europeans always have to wait so long?
I hope it comes out soon, because I'm really eager to buy it. Sega better keep their word on releasing this game soon. That goes for their other upcoming 3D Classics. What are you guys' thoughts on this? Comment below!
UPDATE: This game has been slated for a December 5th, 2013 release on the 3DS eShop! Hooray!

Honestly though, where is my 3D Classics: Sonic the Hedgehog? It's ridiculous that we have to wait so long for this to be released while Japan has to wait one week. We better not have to wait over a year like we did for the next slew of Game Gear games after the release of Sonic Triple Trouble, Shinobi, and Dragon Crystal.

I'm disappointed to see two posts in a row asking for proof. This was announced on for US and EU release Sega's blog and the EU Nintendo direct.

Definitely 3D Classics: Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Best Sonic game of all time in my eyes. And YES, Sega is taking an unbelievably long time with heir e-Shop releases. Hurry it up, Sega!

Looking forward to this, although I would be way more excited about a 3D Classics treatment of Sonic 2.
Same here. Sonic 1 has been ported to death. Although, once a great game, always a great game.
Oh, yeah, Sonic's foundation has always been solid. Like Mario. I guess I could compare this to Mario Bros 1 and 3. The original is a classic, but has been ported to death. SMB3 improves on all aspects of the game, though, and hasn't seen nearly so many ports.
SMB3 3D Classics edition would be awesome. I don't know why Nintendo hasn't gone that route.
Maybe if Sonic 1 sells enough, we can see a 3D Classics treatment of the sequel. It's the quintessential Sonic game, for me.
If Nintendo is smart.... They will release 3D Classics: Sonic the Hedgehog on the same day that Sonic Lost World is released. That would be a great advertising plan.
