It's probably fair to say that not every Kirby game has got the pulse racing, with often excellent releases sometimes followed by excessively 'safe' entries in the series. Pleasingly, Kirby and the Forgotten Land looks to be a real return to form, with plenty of reviews - including our own - lavishing the 3D entry with praise.
As you can see at the top of the page, Nintendo has rolled out the launch trailer to celebrate the game landing in stores, on the eShop and on doormats all around the world. And, well, it's pretty darn cute and charming.
We're all geared up for a Kirby weekend; let us know if it's in your plans in the comments below, and you can also join in with our recent Poll!

Between this, Odyssey, BOTW, Dread... this may be the greatest generation for flagship Nintendo titles since the SNES.
Ugh that version of Green Greens just hit me in the heart ❤️
Just got an email saying it has just been dispatched, cheers Amazon I'll wait until Monday then
I am so glad to see a "traditional" Kirby game be given a ton of effort and attention. All the super creative and unique Kirby games are awesome, but I need this classic fix now and then!!
This game just looks lovely on the Switch OLED. I'm not sure I want to play it in docked mode now tbh.
Pretty good looking. I'll be reading reviews, here, and other places. Looks like it could wind up in my library.
@Bunkerneath I love your profile picture dude! I'm so addicted to Isaac again recently, which is crazy considering i've started playing it in like 2015.
Anyway on topic - Kirby and stuff! Also cool! No really, i'm definitely excited to play this 😄
That trailer has knocked me off of the fence, and straight into the "buy now" field.
Got a good 4 or 5 hours in so far. Awesome game, the best in the Kirby series I'd say since Epic Yarn for Wii.
@Gamer83 Also been loving it alot! Seriously hoping the game performs well enough for a sequel.
@KidBoruto
Yeah, I have it as one of my favorite games of the year so far, right there with Horizon: Forbidden West. Would love a sequel that builds on some of the ideas put into Forgotten Land.
@Gamer83 I still need to play Forbidden West, owned it since launch day and haven't touched.
My OCD insists I do a complete replay of Zero Dawn, which I don't have the time for lol.
