Following the Mortal Kombat 11 story trailer, Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have now shared the official reveal trailer for Cassie Cage during the latest Kombat Kast. Not only do we get to see the daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade in action for the first time in the eleventh outing, but we also get a look at Aussie Kano's extensive move set.
This is another violent and bloody clip, showing off plenty of bone-shattering moves and fatalities, so don't say we didn't warn you. Once again, it's footage from other versions of the game. We're sure we'll get a look at the Switch version, in time.
If you want to know more about this returning fighter, you can watch a full replay of the fourth Kombat Kast down below:
Is Mortal Kombat 11 a game you're looking forward to playing on your Switch? How do you think it is shaping up? Tell us below.

That fatality is simultaneously hilarious and deeply, deeply painful to watch.
Man everyone's boobs seem to be disappearing. Who knew that aging by like 30 years would make your boobs completely disappear xD
Already pre-ordered my Switch copy! MK on a cart like the SNES days let's go!
As much as the violence irks me, it’s pretty impressive how photo realistic this engine looks; it’s like they’re finally achieving what they set out to do with real actors all those years ago. However, yes, that also makes the violence more realistic. The lighting is superb and moody. I just hope the other stages aren’t so visually generic.
That was really cool how she played a shot off of that drone.
Looks like an insanely polished game. Good job, Netherealm.
Of course, the Switch version won’t look this good.
Feels as though Cassie has one of the most over the top and craziest fatalities on the bunch, with the nut kick and Cassie's variant of "Here's Johnny" from MKX
That's about what it feels like to get kicked in the nutsack😣
Santa Kombatbara
So, he kicks in the top of her skull, then smashes her face in, she wins somehow, and casually pops a bubble with her gum.
This kind of gore-porn isn't my thing, and I don't think it should be anyone's.
Content aside, it looks very polished as a game, but I'll definitely never get it. Normalising violence is one (bad, bad) thing, glorifying it this realistic actually hurts just looking at it.
@patbacknitro18 it’s because she’s been the gym working out! It happens to a lot of chicks, sure they get a super toned body but their boobs shrink. Fact of life!
@patbacknitro18 Or maybe for once a bit of armour has been designed for a female chararcter that's actually remotely realistic?
@Shambo
The 'normalization of violence' has taken place over hundreds of thousands of years of our evolution. It's in our genes.
But ok, blame it all on Ed Boone and Mortal Kombat!
These people take getting their faces crushed into bone meal surprisingly well.
Rarely does anything invoke a verbal reaction from me.
That Fatality made me release one very loud "OOOOOOH"
@Rodan2000 Oh ya, her body "Definitely" looks like it's been hitting the gym hard enough for her boobs to have shrunk down to nothing. If its that easy then I wonder why some women even bother with Downsizing surgery
@SegaBlueSky Yes, armor so realistic that it causes women's boobs to shrink. Only the most realistic armor xD
@patbacknitro18 Yes...armour does make women's chests appear smaller, because funnily enough they're not designed for cleavage. Look at any female police officer wearing a padded/armoured vest.
They finally got women face right!
Most comments here are about Cassie's (lack of) boobs cause of the vest she's wearing. Tomorrow is 8th March by the way. Women's day. I'm sure Cassie will have more outfits you can unock
@Primarina I'm pretty sure people were against gladiator fights as well, but then again, I wasn't there, so I cn't know. I do know I would be. People speak up against animal (ab-)use as well, and I'm one of them, but future history books won't tell you about the cruelty we considered "normal". Just how it suddenly was abolished out of pure kindness in the oppressor's hearts.
But that misses the point entirely. Suffering, real or as-real-as-possible should not be considered entertainment in my opinion.
My interest in this is merely as a gamer, and because it kind of fascinates me what they do with it. But yeah, I just stated my opinion, and as far as virtual violence goes and where to draw the line, I can agree to disagree. I'm not a pacifist myself, I personally believe in the -sad- necessity of liberating violence to overthrow systematic / oppressive violence. Just not that whoever enjoys bringing it will be better than the ones they overthrew. But again, kind of besides the topics to discuss on online video game fora.
@KennyBania Here on the other hand, I cannot agree. Violence is to many still nurture, not nature. And I didn't blame it all on Ed Boone, he's a product of this society in which violence sells, and going beyond what is "acceptable" gets you attention. Attention sells. Nudity does. And our value is decided by the market.
What I DID mean to say was exactly what's written: violence shouldn't be glorified or further normalised, in my opinion. I believe we should move away from that, and go for a positive evolution. But as long as it doesn't lead to actions that harm any real living being, I'm not going to try and stop you from having your own.
