Accessory maker Snakebyte has revealed the latest in its line of products for the Switch, and this one looks like it could be a nice little practical solution for your storage needs.
Called the Games:Tower, the product is designed to be a space-saver, holding your Pro Controllers, Joy-Con, games, and more. To be precise, you'll be able to fit 10 physical Switch game boxes in the slots provided, and up to four Pro Controllers or Joy-Con grip sets.
On top of this, rather literally, the top of the tower doubles up as a place to sit your Switch dock - handy if you currently leave it on the floor or in an annoying spot around your TV. We particularly like the bottom, too, which features a neat little drawer for storing away smaller accessories.
Marc-Alexander Knipschild, Head of Marketing for Snakebyte, has shared the following in a press release today:
"The Nintendo Switch now boasts a large game collection and ever-expanding list of accessories, and we believe gamers will flock to the GAMES:TOWER providing a simple and great value for money solution to housing their collection. We believe the GAMES:TOWER for Nintendo Switch will make a strong addition to our core accessories range and allow us to grow our market share in the console sector.”
Snakebyte says that the product is shipping now, "available from all leading gaming retailers". We managed to track down an online option from Amazon UK (£17.99), although the product hasn't yet appeared on Snakebyte's own site.

Need more shelf space when I have over 250+ physical cases.
Bit concerned with how top-heavy it might be with the Dock on top, but I could be wrong.
This ugly one obviously skipped it's vegetables.
I organise my Nintendo Switch machine and games like this.
I use Gamecube controller box + Wii U Remote and Nunchuck box as foundation for my Switch games. 😅
...we believe gamers will flock to the GAMES:TOWER...
It's nice to have a dream, I suppose. I can imagine this thing coming down faster than Jericho.
Powerfully awkward looking.
It looks nice but wouldn’t work for me as 10 case slots doesn’t really solve my space issues, however I do like the controller holders on it and the little drawer on the bottom.
Nope. Had this growing up for my N65 (came with a sticker on the top)

@SwitchForce That will be the MEGA Tower. But you need a ladder to reach the dock . . .
This is nicely designed. 10 cases would be just enough to have all my physical multiplayer games on quick access (with space for future growth). Mostly because I go digital on multiplayer, but still.
Now, if they make a version of this that holds say.... 40 (20 on either side, twice the width and height it would be a no brainer for me to buy. This one is a maybe someday.
I may check this out. The shelf space where I normally put my Switch games is full and there's no way I can currently find to put them in there neatly.
Sorry but I would need a lot of these as have way more than 10 physicals.
And as Alex above says, this looks way too top heavy.
I put the cases in a tote and just keep the cartridges available. It would hold a lot more designed to just hold cartridges.
I like the controller holders. I’m good. I just stack the boxes inside the wardrobe and keeps the cartridges available in a box besides the switch
Perfect for holding my top 10 greatest Switch physical games of all time. Might check it out someday.
@Anti-Matter
That Penguin Wars game. Any idea why it's retail only? Super weird it's not avaiable on the e-shop... and never has been. The game was released nearly a year ago I believe, if not more.
@Anti-Matter the organization is fine, but the games...
Not bad at all...
That's pretty ugly, and about 2 feet too short to be labeled a "tower".
I have one of those tall Wii towers w/ the guitar holder on the side that were all the rage, but I'd never put my system on top of it.
This stand looks like it could use a couple of cross-beams on the back to both stabilize it and may it look even remotely solid.
If you are going to get this though it realistically should be more than stable enough. I actually have my dock on top of the box the Switch came in. Which is probably a rather stupid thing to do but it looks good up there.
This would help, but only if it had a LOT more spaces. I've got a bunch of switch games right now, and could only fit a 4th in that measly "tower".
Sounds expensive
I just keep my games in a travel case so I can, you know, actually travel with them.
Only holds 10 games for ~20 bucks? Hell no
10 cases is way too small.
@TossedLlama If you make a picture, or a couple or pictures of it with a smart phone or digital camera, then you can upload them to a site like PostImage, which creates the links for you, and then you select/copy the one called "direct link" and post that in your comment here, in between the following command, except without all the spaces between the brackets, which I had to do now to show you how it looks:
[ img ] link to picture goes here [ / img ]
The moment that it topples and your switch goes flying...
@TossedLlama You're welcome. The link doesn't display the picture directly, because you kinda missed the part where I mentioned you having to remove all the spaces in between the brackets (as in: in between the two sets of brackets themselves) to actually make it work...
@TossedLlama Wait, you've got a GAME BOY FRIDGE???
@TossedLlama Still seeing spaces in between the individual brackets...
It needs to look like this: [img]
The same with the second one, but I can't show you, otherwise they'd become invisible, since it's an embed command.
P.S.
You also selected the wrong link from PostImage:
you need the one that is called "direct link", which is easily recognizable, because it either has a .jpg or .png extension at the end. Otherwise you go to the page that you posted, which shows a smaller version of the picture on an index page.
Hint: if you click on the picture in your link, or simply right-click the picture and select "View Image", then you'll also see the direct link displayed in your browser's address bar.
@TossedLlama Haha, don't mention it. And no apologies necessary. Glad I could help.
I hope the base is heavily weighted. If not, I don't think they fully thought this through.
@TossedLlama
Cool
If the case were wired for charging controllers, was weighted on the bottom, and had at least a cross section along the back to make it more sturdy, it would be worth considering. As it is, this is just begging to be knocked over.
Looks like a bad CD tower clone.
i organize my games in a shelf in my room.
while this is neat and all, it's not what im looking for to organize my switch games. so i'll be using my green box for that.
You lost my sale at ‘10 physical games.’ 20...maybe, but 10?! I have six already (8 if you count pending receptions of pre-purchased Iconoclasts and Bloodstained) and have owned the system for a staggering 4 months! Great idea, though!
