First, we knew it was coming in the Spring, then it was sometime in April, and now - finally - we have a solid, tangible release date for Wild Guns Reloaded. Natsume's remake of the SNES classic will be arriving on Nintendo Switch on 17th April.
With confirmation from Natsume that the game has now gone gold, the finished product will be available digitally and at retail for only $29.99. The Switch version - which offers a shooting gallery style gunfight setup - packs in some extra game modes. Now, newcomers can play the arcade-style shooter with unlimited lives, while veteran gunslingers can take on Boss Rush: Time Attack for the hardest of the hardcore.
Will you be picking up Wild Guns Reloaded this month? It looks like just the right balance between faithful throwback and modern features. Let us know in the comments section below...

I do love the original game. Do not love the price of this Reloaded port. But I shall buy it anyway!
Well we all love this game, we're not even discussing that but... that price? Ugh...
Too expensive! As much as I want to play it I won't be going near it at that price. $19.99 is what it should cost.
Please give us an Arcade Port of Sunset Riders
How much in U.K. pounds? If its under £20 I will likely pull the trigger. More than that and it'll have to wait for a sale.
@Gerald Hell yes, all the Konami back catalogue as Arcade Archives please. Starting with SUNSET RIDERS and MYSTIC WARRIORS.
Ugh...that price is nuts but I need this. More games like this please!!!
I'll indeed try out this game out because I've never played this game before in my life and I hope that the arcade version of Sunset Riders comes out including some of Konami's best arcade games ever.
@Lroy Yes I hope that happens too love Sunset Riders the arcade version.
@Gerald @Lroy Couldn't agree more. Sunset Rider, what a game!
Is the physical version US only?
Seems a bit expensive still have the original on my wii u so I will stick with that unless it’s around £20 great game though especially with 2 players
Will be on the lookout for the physical.
@JoakimZ I've seen it listed on European webshops.
I suppose it's priced that way because of added controller support??
When it came out on PS4 it was also overpriced. I picked it up when it was on the ps store sales for around 7.99 and it’s def worth that
Sold! (at some point lol)
Finally get to play as a doxy....oh the joy!!! Hard to complain about the price with 4-PLAYER SUPPORT, the extra modes and considering that a legit SNES cart is $175+ here in the States and a PAL cart is even more....
So, is the writer here being sarcastic when he's talking about "only" 30$ for a very mildly upgraded SNES game?
Not at that price
$30 for a SNES port? This real life?
Wow, Wild Guns!
Wow, that price!
Have the original on my Retro Freak and I really like the SNES original. May pick this up.
Like I said before, getting this on Switch would be worth it cause not only will you get it physical but as a portable and console title as well plus the added extras of the PS4 port not to mention trying to get the SNES original copy would cost you an arm and a legs nowadays and the repro version of this goes for around $50-$70 as well.
Physical I can understand because pressing to those cards is not cheap, but $30 is way too much for digital. Companies need to start implementing a smaller price for digital releases, or include them with the physical release.
A Kindle book usually costs around $4 cheaper than its physical version.
A comic, vinyl record, Bluray, 4KBR, or CD comes with a download code for a digital copy.
I guess our version of this is "wait for discount sales".
Just give us sunset riders! Instead.
I'd pay $30 for Turtles in Time or a remaster because its one of the best beatemups ever made. This might be the best run on the bottom of the screen while trying to aim a crosshair game but when your only competition is Cabal....
I'm going to wait for a sale on this one. Luckily I didn't play this as a kid "only an adult with an emulator" so, no pressing want.
Yeah I'll grab the physical copy
I liked the original, but found the controls difficult.
I never played this before. And at 29.99, I never will. Give me Sunset Riders.
still cheaper than the snes version
amazing game by the way!
Maybe the analog sticks will improve the controls.
If it has pointer controls, yes!
Nintendo really take the piss sometimes.
Does it have gyro aiming?
Love the original game but this is....pricey 😕
Completely & totally different genres/games/companies, yet everyone feels the need to comment that they want Sunset Riders.
29.99?? Wot r they smoking?
