We quite liked Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder when it popped up on WiiWare way back in 2011. Our reviewer at the time, Zach boldly stated it was, "Not the worst game ever," - a claim which we still stand by.

Polish developer iFun4All - which recently released Serial Cleaner, Green Game: TimeSwapper and Red Game Without a Great Name - is bringing the game over to the Switch eShop on 1st March with the devastating new title of Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder Devastated.

This tower-defense game has a humorous cartoon style and a large dose of humour. The main objective of each of the three available campaigns is to eliminate the approaching waves of enemies with a variety of artillery attacks. The power of a basic attack depends on the time spent on recharging the weapon. The longer the player charges the artillery, the more destruction it will cause among enemy ranks. Quick decisions and strategic thinking may turn out to be the key to victory.

While making their progress through the maps, the player gains access to various additional powers of destruction, such as freezing or slowing down enemies, bringing forth earthquakes, deploying landmines or bombing raids. The game can be played in standard or survival mode. What's more, one of the campaigns - Zombie Warz - focuses on the fight against the relentless hordes of the undead, which might be good news for all zombie aficionados.

Check out the trailer above and let us know if you'll be picking this up on the 1st March for your Switch...
