Head of communications at episodic based studio Telltale has discussed the idea of bringing more games to the Nintendo Switch. Job Stauffer has spoken of his love for the console and teased that "it wouldn't be unheard if more of our series also made it to Switch". Mr Stauffer was referring to Minecraft: Story Mode - The Complete Adventure (Minecraft Season 1 with all added DLC), which is currently the only announced title from the studio coming to the Switch.

The full quote can be read below:

We haven't quite announced [Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 for Switch] but we certainly hope to continue things on that platform; we're big fans. It wouldn't be unheard if more of our series also made it to Switch; we love the platform. It's kind of perfect for what we do. All of our games are the same on mobile as they are on consoles. And for a mobile console [like the Switch] it's pretty awesome.

Minecraft: Story Mode - The Complete Adventure is due for release this August for Switch whilst Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 2 is due for release on 11th July for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and mobile devices with an expected release for Switch later down the line.

With the Switch off to a strong start sales wise, should we expect more franchises to be ported over? Could we even get a devoted Telltale series for a Nintendo franchise like Zelda, Fire Emblem or F-Zero? In our dreams, perhaps, but stranger things have happened.
