Back in 2011 LEGO enthusiasts had the chance to enjoy LEGO Battles: Ninjago, a DS title for the spin-off franchise that was "wildly successful", according to Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment; in the publisher's defence, sales of over two million units worldwide aren't to be sniffed at.
Unsurprisingly, in light of those sales, the Ninjago arm of the LEGO brand is getting a second game, with LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids confirmed for a Summer release on the 3DS and PS Vita. While the DS title blended strategy with action, early screens and descriptions for this new entry suggest this will follow the more conventional action play of the main LEGO games. Below is some of the press release blurb to tell you more.
LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids will feature 30 fast-paced, action-packed levels that follow the key plot scenarios featured in the “LEGO Ninjago Rebooted” animated series. In the game, the player must fight like a true Spinjitsu Master, using special moves and combo attacks or secret weapons like Technoblades to hack into computers to solve puzzles and defend the city.
LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids players will face their greatest challenge as they work to protect New Ninjago City from the Overlord’s Nindroid army. Infiltrate Borg Tower, fly the Kai Fighter and face off against the evil Tech Wu. Take to the streets in Cole’s Earth Mech and Jay's Thunder Raider, defend the skies in Zane's Ninjacopter, escape Pythor on Lloyd’s Golden Cycle, and enter the Digiverse for an epic final battle. Story mode features additional favorite characters like Nya, Sensei Garmadon, Samurai X, and PIXAL.
This title, like its predecessor, is being developed by Hellbent Games in partnership with LEGO series masters TT Games. Are you a fan of the Ninjago line of LEGO toys and animated series, and does this one tempt you?

I though it was a exclusive with Nintendo themed droids...but meh.
So will the Vita version be called Vidroids?

@Savino This is shovelware in my book. That was my reason for "meh".
yay
Finally, an actually Ninjago game. I might get it if reviews are good, though its less likely the game will do great.
Also, Ninjago is one of my favorite CN shows, alongside Regular Show and The Amazing World of Gumball.
